I will answer some of these questions:

The warranty is excellent, but you might have some trouble. It is a lifetime warranty, but it is for the original owner, so you might not be so lucky if they are older than you are. In general, though, they will warranty pretty much anything no questions asked, especially if you are the original owner.

I will try and get some pics up tonight of the ones I have, exact same has what he got. If you go to vendor review, I have some pics there already, one is a close up, but not the greatest quality. I got a new bulb for my home shop light, so I should be able to get some better tonight.

They blow them out of the water, IMHO. I would say they are on the same level as Snap On wrenches. Seriously, I boght my set over taking a free set of Snap On from my Uncle. The beams a bit thicker than the Snap On, so they don't dig in to my hand like the SO do, and Wright is the leader for the Wright Drive(AKA Flank Drive) technology. They have Wright Grip for SAE(AKA FDP) but not for metric right now. Wright combo's are also the strongest combo's on the market. Very popular in industrial applications for this reason, but they are great for cars too!
Personally, I have loved every second with mine so far. Actually, they get borrowed more than I even get to use them by other guys in the shop, and these guys all have boxes full of truck brand tools. I have even used those open ends on some flare nuts with flawless results. The closed ends just grip and rip bolts off no problem. With this 2nd gen Wright Drive on the 12pt, the contact area is just under what a side drive 6pt achieves.
