1. SO Tech Angle and a Craftsman Magnetic light (which is awfully handy) during a thermostat, housing and sensor r/r.
2. This one's funny. Installed a Monroe QuickStrut (gimme a break lol) on a civic and needed to line up the holes. I was alone so that SO 24 pry bar was of no use.
Darn cheapest Irwin clamp/spreader actually held it's own against that lower control arm.
3. The other side: I didn't have spring compressors at the time so I ended up using a bottle jack to push the spring up. Yes it did slip the first time!
Btw, would you guys believe that Civic's got 200k and all the suspension parts are original. That's what a 12 year old California garaged at home and at work car's suspension looks like.
Heck, I was able to unbolt the control arm bolt just with a 1/4 hex dewalt impact impact driver. I did spray it with PB though first lol.
