Today 24 Feb only; save 20% off $100 or more using coupon code TOWER at checkout.

Thanks so much. I almost ordered a proto locking pliers set yesterday. I added the proto impact driver and that totaled up to 102.00 just enough to get the discount.

I'm new to the forum, and it's not been very good for my wallet. Every little bit of savings helps.

I've had an order queued up and waiting for a good promotional code. I'm glad I checked the "Hot Deals" section before calling it a night.

Wonder what we're dong wrong. We spend millions at Fastenal, so much they put a Fastenal store in our building, and the prices seemingly get WORSE as time goes by.

But I don't care as I buy nothing from them. Fastenal sales guy HATES me. lol.

I get the Mechanix wear gloves $3 cheaper from NAPA delivered. And I buy tools from PB Swiss, Facom, Snap On, etc. direct, not off the truck, not calling and talking to anyone, just making a web order with company card, and it's still less than what other dept's spend on the "equivalent" **** from Fastenal.

I was turned off by them years ago, 3/8" bolts failing the 1/4" bolt test! I will never trust them.

Then I saw the bendable tungsten they were selling. Gee, wonder why weld quality just went to **** factory wide. Management tearing into gas supplier. Guy on production line shows me his bent tungsten. Yeah.

I will wait a day for something decent from McMaster if I have too. Worth it just to spite Fastenal IMO.

Got this email this morning. I had been waiting for a 20% off sale, so 25% was even better. Ordered some USA made chains and binders.

I was all set to order the proto ratcheting wrenches until I realized that the black chrome ones are not USA made, only the polished ones are. I can't afford the polished ones yet, even with 25% off.

Just ordered a bunch of stuff on Amazon last night. I would have definitely bought from Zoro if I knew this was coming... Who does these flash sales on a Tuesday?

These things always cost me money.

Got some more impact sockets, 20 pairs of gloves, and a Justrite safety fuel can.

I would take stuff apart just for fun with em, I would use them on some unsuspecting farmers tractor so that I can mostly use the big ones:thumbup:

By federal law you must post pics of them, no later than 30 min after receiving them;)

I will post pictures and my thoughts on them when they arrive. Now I have to impatiently wait for the tracking info, just to get an idea of how long delivery will be.

P.S. Did you guys get this promo code in regular email? For some reasons I didn't see it come across in my email and wondered if it was a targeted promo?

In any event it saved me $$$'s.

I did not. In fact, I have stopped receiving coupon codes from them at all this year. :dunno:

Yeah same. I bought two things in January, perhaps they deemed that I'm too regular of a buyer to need incentives.

****. I've also been waiting for one of these sales (25-30%). Usually do a quick check at lunchtime everyday. Probably missed yesterdays posting by a few minutes too early.

Regarding notification, I have never bought from them, but did sign up for their "specials notification". Nothing was sent.

I got a zoro catalog in the mail that has a promotions page showing 24-25 March as one of them. Doesn't say what it is, but does say this:

"If you're looking for savings this March, you're in LUCK. You don't need to kiss the Blarney Stone to find good fortune, you just need to visit zoro.com/catalog2015 March 24-25!"

Next one shown after that is 15-22 June and then 25-28 August.

I've only ordered 3 or 4 times from Zoro so I don't have a lot of experience with them but I had some pretty bad customer service from them this time around.

I ordered a green Rubbermaid Brute trash can last night. Today I got an email saying this item was discontinued and they cancelled it. I called them and asked if they could switch it to a different color. The guy said no problem and proceeds to charge me full price and shipping. He said since the promo code was used already there was no way I could use it again. Long story short after flipping out and being on hold for 26 min they finally gave it to me.

During that 26 min I compared everything to Home Depot and I really didn't save much anyway. Really wasn't worth the hassle.

Same here, seems like ever since my Cyber Monday 30% purchase I haven't received any discount emails from then since. Well I think there was once around Christmas but that was it. I even signed up my other email & haven't received any coupon codes, just a few announcements or whatever. Been checking the spam folder also. I've been relying on this thread for coupons that you guys post.

Weird. The same thing happened to me on a different item, but there was never even a mention of not having a discount applied. I checked the receipt that was emailed and it has the discount.
