When does zoro usually release the codes? I got the email about the sale, does that mean they will email the code or will I have to go to some obscure page, or will I have to check here frequently during the day tomorrow?

Code usually drops at midnight central time, but the flash sales usually have a 3 or 4 hour window around noon time when a greater discount is available.

Thinking about ordering a Miller 211 with the new rebate deal. To get the full $400 rebate do I need to order $200 or $400 in Miller accessories? I would assume $200 but you never know.

Also this will be my first welder so I pretty much need everything, helmet, gloves, etc, any good recommendations from Zoro?

You may want to order extra - someone on this board had the same idea on the last flash sale and Zoro was out of one of the items (not known at time of sale) and it put them below the rebate threshold when that item was dropped from the order.

The 211 is a nice machine. Zoro carries a variety of nice welding helmets - I have a Miller that I like. Plan to pick up a Lincoln Viking 3350 as a spare at some point.

This makes the proto wrenches i want a bit more affordable for me. J1200R-MASD, and J1200FASD.

Now the question is do I get these today with 30% off, or wait a little longer and pick up Wrightgrips in the same size ranges?

Not sure I need anything...but what should I get?

For woodworking this time.

Dave
By far the best thing I have found for woodworkers is a Starrett double square. They have both 4" and 6" versions.

Other items I have found that are less than Rockler/Woodcraft/HD/Lowes:
Makita random orbital sander
Kreg adhesive tape and tracks (for building jigs)
Kreg router table - they have the steel base, top, and fence sold separately
Kreg screws for use with pocket hole jig
Bosch Colt palm router

I found these are NOT competitively priced:
Porter Cable 7518 router
Bessey K-body clamps

Please post more woodworking tool ideas if you find them...

I just spoke to a rep at Miller, and you must purchase the amount of the additional purchase rebate to get that discount ($400).

Are you modifying the firmware to make it an "E9"?

You bet. I love EEVBlog, first the Rigol scope hacks, and now the Flir Firmware upgrade. The YouTube channel is awesome if you are an electronics geek, too.

I'm also buying some butcher block countertop, and probably several other big items. I'll post item numbers once I'm done.

Sharkytm, you or anyone else know if the "Engineered wood" is OSB laminate or solid wood? Description states it's natural wood.

Titebond glue - http://www.zoro.com/g/Wood Glues and Fillers/00063625/
Last time I got a gallon of TB2 for less than the quarts at Rockler/WC

I usually stock up on Kreg screws in the 500 or larger packs

Extended #2 square and phillips bits

Faztek extrusions (Same as 8020) for building jigs

Planning on some large diameter drill bits, fill in some sizes in my Hansen trays with Westward sockets, retractable chuck key holder for my drill press, 24" Proto breaker bar, and a few Akro-Mils attached lid containers and a single Phillips bit to hit the $200...

Zoro made some noises not long ago about improving the website. Anyone know if it's easier now to search for products?
