Keep in mind the Build with Blue rebate is good through the end of the year, so there will at some point be another 30% flash sale, and Zoro will likely have the inverter 211.

The transformer 211 is a FINE welder though.

I'm pondering getting the Spoolmatic 30A. I am thinking of welding up some aluminum trailer guides for my aluminum boat trailer.

Is the inverter machines really that much better? If it's on a cart and isn't being loaded into a vehicle often, is it that much different?

New(ish) technology makes me leary.

I caved.

My heated Milwaukee jacket stopped working mid winter after 3 years. I didn't plan on replacing it until late fall, but the 30% made me do it a little bit sooner.

I've been eyeing up the Knipex Raptor and self-adjusting Cobra pliers for a while, but didn't need them. At 30% off that's likely the cheapest price anywhere.

Thanks (or maybe not, haha) to Garage Journal for introducing me to Zoro!

Hmm I got one of the 30% codes too. Been thinking of picking up a drill press and corded drill. Just not sure if any of the drill presses offered by zoro (~$300 range) are worth it

what about the saw did you not like (besides the shipping damage lol)

Honestly, it felt sloppy in the bearings. For the first time out milwaukee did pretty good but I was unhappy.

I would have to say the Bosch DB Glide would be my saw choice at that price point.

This is the saw that I ended up with, found a new one on ebay from a private party for 450 shipped/.

It's probably not that much better. It is more powerful and has slightly better duty cycle, though. Look at the duty cycle charts for both machines.

I know this is a garage board, but check out the prices at Zoro on some flashlights and pelican products, including their 35 qt. cooler. 30% off makes some of this stuff a great deal.

I've got a 30% off coupon code that I shouldn't use in the interest of matrimonial bliss. Shoot me a PM if you want it.

Got my Miller rebate and spool gun yesterday. I submitted them on 8/5!

Wow, I submitted mine via email on 7/31 and they confirmed everything was good, but nothing yet.

They said i would most likely get the rebate first, and that the spool gun might be back ordered.

Here is the 30% code Zoro sent me. I am not going to use it this time. I have spent too much on tools and guns lately. It says it is just for me but I will post it. Great if somebody can use it: THRTY0B610
Good luck

That Echo CS-590 is a beast. Mine is doing great milling some Walnut wood recently, but I did have a tree bury it for a few hours. Broke my handle! But it started right up again and ran fine afterwards.

I need to see what I can get from Zoro today that I can use. I really just hate their website. Hard to find anything at all ! - Paul

The part # for the inverter 211 (907614) is already listed as being part of the rebate. It's definitely eligible. Miller doesn't only run the build rebates when they have a machine to get rid of, and note only one machine is presently EOL.

What makes you think that's the part# for the inverter 211? The reviews on CyberWeld for that part # go back to November of 2013.

I was looking at the 907614 just yesterday on Cyberweld... there were no reviews. They must have uploaded the 211 (transformer) reviews. 907614 is correct.

Feel free to spend 2 minutes researching yourself if you don't believe me.

http://www.millerwelds.com/products/mig/product.php?model=M30024 is the inverter model. (M00245 is the old one, 907422 is the old part #)

Click "Models & Pricing" to see the part #s.

I'm guessing CyberWeld used the page from the old 211. It clearly says on that CyberWeld page:

"The inverter design of the Millermatic 211 means it draws less power, has a superior welding arc and weighs up to 40% less than other MIG welders in its class"

So it's definitely the new 211, the previous one was a transformer.

Is the expiration date today for those that got the email? Got a code from someone else but won't be home tomorrow if they deliver it then (usually one day shipping for me!).

I'm a little disappointed to say that I really don't need anything, so here's a code for someone to enjoy: THRTY18WEP

I spent way too much on tools lately, but went ahead and placed another order... Needed something to cut metal with now that I have a welder. :)

Milwaukee portable deep band saw
3 pk 14 tooth blades
3 pk 24 tooth blades
Cover for the miller 211 that i got from Zoro few weeks ago.

$306, not bad considering I almost paid that at home depot for just the saw.

Apparently I need one of these now:

I was getting ready to throw my code out there as well until I suddenly remembered that I've been wanting to pick up the Milwaukee M12 3" polisher (tool only) someday! Guess today is the day! $110.25 plus tax! Sweet!

Just call Zoro up.The webmaster is a pinhead but the company itself is fantabulous..so is JB tool sales. Great people to go with.
Matter of factoid every company represented on this forum are a bunch of good folks. Call them with a problem and they have the cure.EVERY time.

I should post the companies I buy from and request a sticky here.
ALL of you would be surprised.

I am getting a bit confused, is the new 211 inverter available for the rebates?

I see zoro is still selling the old model and it appears that cyberweld sells the newer one.
