Vintage Unisaw Extension Table & Fence

A few weeks back, I rented a uhaul and headed out to Houston to pick up a 1953 Delta Unisaw that I bought from a retired NASA engineer. Since then, I’ve been busy getting it set up and ready to use. I built some Biesemeyer rails using the VSC plans here, put an extension table between those rails, and added a Shark Guard. I only screwed up a couple of times… and I’m super happy with the results. Random Cyber Week Deals

Admittedly, I’m not much of a coupon shopper. I just buy what I need when I need it… and look for the best deal whenever and whatever that may be. But I’m looking for a good deal on either a Victron or Xantrex inverter/charger and while I haven’t found one yet, I did find a few good sales I thought I would list.

Vintage Tool Restoration

So about a year ago I found this guy on YouTube that silently restores vintage tools. I’m pretty sure it’s a foreign production, but the quality is high and the tools are almost exclusively things that we would like. Unfortunately, he doesn’t make videos very often… but when he does, it’s really, really fun to watch. The above example documents his efforts with a 1950’s era tire pressure gauge, but he does vices and even a blow torch in other films. Check them all out here. See Comments on the forum.

The Studio Kitchen Cabinet & Shelf Build

So I made some wall cabinets… and some shelves. And while I’m super happy with the end product, I’m not all that proud of the video. It’s one of those things where I was just too focused on the build to consider the “story line” while I was shooting. In any case, I didn’t want all that footage to go to waste so I edited the video anyhow. I hope ya enjoy it. See Comments on the forum.
