I actually bought a pair of those "X-Ray glasses" from Johnson & Smith back in 1972, I was seven years old.
They did not allow me to see through dresses:mad:, but I did learn the lesson of "Buyer Beware".
That was probably worth many times the cost of the glasses.

They have security scanners at the airport that see thru clothing... Maybe those cost $6,000,000.00? Hmmmm that would be the retail price. The government would be buying them for $600,000,000.00 but they get the fancy one with anti-corrosion gold plated buttons and switches.

I remember seeing those types of things in magazines as a kid, and while I fantasized about them working, I knew that they were too good to be true. I just never understood how those companies could get away with that.
