Not a do everything plier for sure. I recently did some electrical work. Uncurled and re-curled some wire around the screw terminals on some receptacles I was changing. Used my Channellock long nose pliers as the tips are narrow and to a point. These Snap ons would not have been a good choice for that job. Likely could have used them, but I had a better option.I should clarify that the first pic is in the first position where they should be aligned the best. The grind on the tip slant isn't even, which is hard to get a picture of. I agree these are for heavy duty, just wanted to mention it in case someone was expecting a do everything plier
Isn't that why we have these tool boxes filled with various tools? There are subtle differences that we notice and appreciate after using tools for a while.
If I need to grab and reef on something in a narrow opening, these will do a better job than those CL long nose pliers I have though.
