I received 12 as well.
. Could have been a dozen set of carbide drill bits and only received one, lucky.they usually let you keep small value items if you care to go through the trouble. If you do the clicks and are told to return it, you can still not do it and just be out the 2 bux.
I bought a "used - like new/mint" tool during Prime day that had 25% off. It arrived and a minor part was broken. It didn't stop the tool from working but it clearly was not "mint". They knocked another 20% off which I accepted. Yeah I had to make the customer service call but the juice was worth the squeeze.
Agree... It's a novelty ratchet for me.
Not surprisingly, I can't imagine grabbing the Williams over a Snap-On, Ko-ken, or even an Icon G2 1/2" (all of which is a heck of a lot more than $26). But I'd also grab an Astro or Tone 1/2" for actual use before it, both at sub $30 price points.
YES, it's the fact that it is made in USA that makes it at all interesting at a $26 price point for me.

Have had this drill a year now.....DAMN fine and would put against any brand.

these arrived in individual unlabeled plastic boxes inside a zip lock (no problem there imo). The laser label is dim and imperfect which might explain the reduced price. Haven't put it through a machine but cutting edges look fine.

I agree. I've had no issues. But when my friends ask, I tell I'm pro red/green/yellow. Lots of hate for blue tools.

I should clarify. The 5-star reviews are from folks who, judging by the posted date, paid around $50-60.
Anyway, upon further reflection, I allowed national pride (?) and the excitement of purchasing an American-made
ratchet at a modest price to increase my expectations to an unreasonable level, and perhaps that is indeed crazy.
It’s not the smoothest ratchet, but ill have no issue putting a cheater on it

Don't want to derail the topic, but I also seen disdain for blue and never understood why. Bosch is usually more expensive than the other brands, but in my experience they're usually a bit better in quality. I buy Bosch mostly because they have the least amount of tools I've seen made in China. Most of the tools I have from them are made in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and other European countries.

I bought this drill to when it was $178 for the drill , charger , 2 batteries and bag a few months ago. I like it very much and although I'm mainly on the Makita LXT eco system, I always prefer Bosch drills and have for ages.They just seem to outlast anything else at a similar price point. The amount of hard concrete and double brick walls and steal I've drilled through with my old Bosch corded and it still kept going. I also had a few different Bosch sanders that have lasted years as has that little 3.7V screw driver I have, and ive abused that little thing, I've even used it to drill holes sometimes when I'm lazy.
I like blue and green, where I come from they're respected and highly regarded along with Dewalt.
I was speaking to a cabinet maker 10 years ago and saw they were assembling cabinets with Ryobi tools and I was then told , the Makita tools keep going " missing " so until he finds out who/how/why , his staff had to make do with Ryobi. Although a few of those had broken , none ever went missing. He got the job done , keeping spare ryobi tools incase of malfunction or replacing them still saved him money on tools and didn't hurt productivity.

I often wonder why some people keep buying hammer drills instead of rotary hammer drills. The difference is dramatic. Are there any benefits that I miss?

Often the top end drill from a manufacturer is their hammer drill, and is produced more than the drill driver only. So it is necessarily people buying for the hammer drill, but rather that it is the cheaper option (at least in bundles), and mainly using it as a drill.
Yes, if you are using the hammer function on the drill, it will limited to minimally sized holes in hammer mode, and the SDS is the more optimal solution.

63mm got in, Looks ok, center hole for arbor is a bit undersized so have to rub it/burnish it into place. I may hit it w/some sand paper later. It's definitely the face mill since other arbors i tried had same issue on it.50& 63mm face mills w/arbor and inserts
i got a dozen...I've got too many B size bits tbh.
If you haven't already, Chuck it up in your mill. I bought one of each, the 50mm threaded fine and cuts beautifully. The 63 though, the draw bar home was drilled straight.... But the threads were not cut straight. Requested a replacement and haven't confirmed that one yet. Note worthy observation, the arbors between the 2 were different (slightly different appearance and different etching styles). Other than that, fit and finish were very nice on mine.
