In the case of that listing, I would actually prefer to receive one. That's still a really good price, and I don't need to make that many holes. Storing twelve bits that large is kind of a pain. But they really need to fix the listing.
Mine are due tomorrow. If only one comes it will be a return/refund.

I paid a little over two bucks for a drill bit. I’m ok with it and probably won’t bother retuning it for a credit. Chalk it up to “ it is what it is”. If it was a big ticket item with $$$ on the line i definitely would be contacting Amazon.
they usually let you keep small value items if you care to go through the trouble. If you do the clicks and are told to return it, you can still not do it and just be out the 2 bux.

I bought a "used - like new/mint" tool during Prime day that had 25% off. It arrived and a minor part was broken. It didn't stop the tool from working but it clearly was not "mint". They knocked another 20% off which I accepted. Yeah I had to make the customer service call but the juice was worth the squeeze. 😁

Amazon shipped mine protected in just a plastic bag, and it arrived with a few small nicks on the handle.
Also, the USA stamp seems to be printed slightly diagonally, so maybe some of these are factory seconds.

I don't understand all the glowing reviews. Is it because it is made in USA? There is quite a bit of
backdrag, so at the usual cost of around $60, I think a Koken on sale at that price easily blows it away.
I'm sure the failure load is higher though. I'm going to keep it around as a spare, but if this were a
$26 Taiwanese ratchet, I would be disappointed.
Agree... It's a novelty ratchet for me.

Not surprisingly, I can't imagine grabbing the Williams over a Snap-On, Ko-ken, or even an Icon G2 1/2" (all of which is a heck of a lot more than $26). But I'd also grab an Astro or Tone 1/2" for actual use before it, both at sub $30 price points.

YES, it's the fact that it is made in USA that makes it at all interesting at a $26 price point for me.

I rarely bother with Amazon "warehouse deal" (used) purchases. Too many times the items are not in the condition described, and not a significant enough discount to be worth the potential hassle of having to return the item (or re-negotiate a further discount with some off-shore CSR rep)

You were expecting negative reviews on a $26 USA-made Williams ratchet? That's cray cray.

I should clarify. The 5-star reviews are from folks who, judging by the posted date, paid around $50-60.

Anyway, upon further reflection, I allowed national pride (?) and the excitement of purchasing an American-made
ratchet at a modest price to increase my expectations to an unreasonable level, and perhaps that is indeed crazy.

It’s not the smoothest ratchet, but ill have no issue putting a cheater on it

I agree. I've had no issues. But when my friends ask, I tell I'm pro red/green/yellow. Lots of hate for blue tools.

Don't want to derail the topic, but I also seen disdain for blue and never understood why. Bosch is usually more expensive than the other brands, but in my experience they're usually a bit better in quality. I buy Bosch mostly because they have the least amount of tools I've seen made in China. Most of the tools I have from them are made in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and other European countries.

Have had this drill a year now.....DAMN fine and would put against any brand.
I bought this drill to when it was $178 for the drill , charger , 2 batteries and bag a few months ago. I like it very much and although I'm mainly on the Makita LXT eco system, I always prefer Bosch drills and have for ages. They just seem to outlast anything else at a similar price point. The amount of hard concrete and double brick walls and steal I've drilled through with my old Bosch corded and it still kept going. I also had a few different Bosch sanders that have lasted years as has that little 3.7V screw driver I have, and ive abused that little thing, I've even used it to drill holes sometimes when I'm lazy.

I like blue and green, where I come from they're respected and highly regarded along with Dewalt.

I was speaking to a cabinet maker 10 years ago and saw they were assembling cabinets with Ryobi tools and I was then told , the Makita tools keep going " missing " so until he finds out who/how/why , his staff had to make do with Ryobi. Although a few of those had broken , none ever went missing. He got the job done , keeping spare ryobi tools incase of malfunction or replacing them still saved him money on tools and didn't hurt productivity.

I often wonder why some people keep buying hammer drills instead of rotary hammer drills. The difference is dramatic. Are there any benefits that I miss?

Often the top end drill from a manufacturer is their hammer drill, and is produced more than the drill driver only. So it is necessarily people buying for the hammer drill, but rather that it is the cheaper option (at least in bundles), and mainly using it as a drill.
Yes, if you are using the hammer function on the drill, it will limited to minimally sized holes in hammer mode, and the SDS is the more optimal solution.

The 14ga 25' now on sale $17.43
https://www.amazon.com/Wire-98025-25-Foot-Weather-Extension/dp/B002HWRSAO?tag=atomicindus08-20

These US Wire Extreme cords are my most used 25' extension cords (I generally use 12ga for longer cords).
More flexible in cold weather than any other cord I've had, with the exception of a very old black all rubber cord.
I thought the Prime all rubber cords at Menard's might be like the old one, but they're stiffer.

Also very handy are the 15' 16ga ones at Home Depot. Not on sale, but still the best price I've seen at $13.61

14 gauge down to $12.13 with coupon:

63mm got in, Looks ok, center hole for arbor is a bit undersized so have to rub it/burnish it into place. I may hit it w/some sand paper later. It's definitely the face mill since other arbors i tried had same issue on it.
If you haven't already, Chuck it up in your mill. I bought one of each, the 50mm threaded fine and cuts beautifully. The 63 though, the draw bar home was drilled straight.... But the threads were not cut straight. Requested a replacement and haven't confirmed that one yet. Note worthy observation, the arbors between the 2 were different (slightly different appearance and different etching styles). Other than that, fit and finish were very nice on mine.

A 12 awg 50' reel. I love my Goodyear pneumatic hose reel.

I just cancelled my other 50' and bought this.
Way more than I wanted to spend, but I've been wanting a power cord reel forever.
I have a slight hatred of manually re-winding cords back up after use. Don't have to worry about that anymore now!

It's usually a lot more expensive.
