We have access to a Hyundai Palisade that she's ridden in a fair amount but never driven, she seems to be ok with that so I think in the lines of that, Honda Pilot, GMC Acadia, Toyota Highlander type rides where there is a 3rd row but minimal storage space behind it. I don't like the prices of any of them so that's not helpful to the equation! I also am partial to vehicles being on the more "loaded" side of the options spectrum which doesn't help the price tag either.
I hope the Volvo holds out for you. I may be slightly biased, but if you do need a new car check out the Mazda CX-90. We rarely use the 3rd row, but it's nice to have when we need it. We got the bench seat so 3 kids can sit in the back every day going to school.

…and the best red out there….

That is a sharp color! Don't seem to see as many of those around as some of the other but might have to pay closer attention to those...thanks! I'm going to struggle with a red color though....too many of them around due to people showing "support" for the Nebraska Huskers of which I'm not a fan lo....though that's a bit deeper/more metallic it appears so might be tolerant of it cause it does look good!

....so many of my teams sport red, so it wasn't an issue. Besides, when we looked at the other colors, they just paled in comparison....this is our '26 CX-5....

My cousin has one and really likes it. We used to have the -9 with the bench and 3rd row and it was a good car, my wife really liked it......until we upgraded her to the Yukon XL Denali. That has probably been her favorite car out of all of them. We are on our second Wagoneer and honestly thinking about going back to the Yukon. This Wagoneer we have now has had a lot of electrical issues that almost 40k miles later are still intermittent and not resolved despite several dealer trips. Now the dealer changed their rules and has a no loaner policy so it's impossible with the kids to give up a car for several days in row to let them try "diagnose" it again. Usually when we take it in they just clear the codes and say we couldn't replicate or find anything. So I just do that at home now lol.

As a previously owner of a 2022 Hyundai Palisade, with 178k miles on it... stay away from the Palisade..... SOO many transmission issues. Mine was good, but i kept on regular mainteancne, but it was STARTING to shudder here and there. I've heard of some Palisades with trans issues as low as 65-75k.
