Not really a HOT deal - more like a warm deal:

Craftsman 299 piece dual mark socket set. 009-35299 $338.66 after a bunch of random discounts and "sears5off50".

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00935299000P

Gets better if you use the 35 off 300 click through coupon ...

http://clickserve.cc-dt.com/link/click?lid=41000000026494951

In the interest of full disclosure I poached this one from Slickdeals.

Even better if you stack the coupon code "CANDYCANE" on top of it, for an additional 20 off 200 (this one expires today).

New total $295.78.

These should be going live today for the week of Craftsman Club Saver Days. Discounts will be taken off the total once its added to your cart. Remember they can sell out of online allocations.

Craftsman Bolt-Out 6 pc. Damaged Bolt/Nut Remover Set $10.00
(Covers sizes 8, 10-13mm and common Standard 5/16-1/2")

Craftsman Bolt-Out 5 pc. Damaged Bolt/Nut Remover Set $10.00

Craftsman 3 pc. Screw Out Damaged Screw Remover Set $10.00

and of course
Craftsman 7 pc. Ratcheting Bolt-Out Set $5.00

note: there are no female drive ends to the ratcheting thru socket set like the other bolt-out sets, it has to be used with the included wrench.

Craftsman Workstation $25.00
330 lbs. load capacity
Looks handy if you do work where you dont often have a table available. [Driveway]

Craftsman 31'' 2-Tray Service Cart $45.00
600 lbs load capacity between the 2 shelves.

GearWrench 8 pc. Standard Flat Full Polish Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set $50.00
Ad says you also get 2 additional wrenches. Wondering if it will only be honored in store only?

GearWrench 8 pc. Metric Flat Full Polish Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set $50.00
Same as the above standard set, the ad says it includes 2 additional wrenches for a total of 10.

GearWrench 8 pc. Stubby Wrench Set, SAE $40.00

GearWrench 8 pc. Stubby Wrench Set, Metric $40.00

Also an advert for "Xtra Points". To quote

Craftsman 10ft miter saw stand/workstation, $80 at Sears. The Pro version is on sale at $180, but it goes on sale at $110 (was on sale about a month ago) so skip on that if you don't feel like you need it for today but you want the Pro's better rollers and aluminum construction.

Yes, those are the ones!! The SAE set was around $11 and the metric was around $5.

I am excited about having a nice set of hex bit sockets. I have never had much confidence in the chrome Cman/Kobalt sets I have.

These are still on clearance for those prices - I bought a set of SAE & a set of metric yesterday.

They're also clearancing the ball-end long hex drivers for about $6/set, both Metric and Fractional.

Forgot to mention that these are all from Taiwan.

This has been live in-store for a few days now. I bought both sets last night. I don't know why - I'll never use them. :lol_hitti

you can flip them pretty easily, when there arent too many sets clogging up ebay, for $45-$60. Its a great price for 10 ratcheting wrenches. Dead now though, they're back up to MSRP.

I went to sears.com to check the price again tonight to see if the deal got any better with their Midnight Maddness sale. The socket set is listed as "out of stock". :(

Yep, the refund for both my orders was done (paypal). Also, received an email :

Unfortunately yesterday during the time that your order was placed our server had a major clutch which caused the web to display erroneous inventory and price information. On some the inventory counts were wrong on others the prices displayed were wrong and in violation of manufacture Minimum Advertized Price rules and we are forbidden by the manufacturers to let these items go at these prices. As such we are having to credit all orders placed during the hours that our server was down.

I realize that this is an inconvenience to you and sincerely apologize.

As an expression of apology we will be issuing coupons to each email address from which orders must be canceled.

Kind Regards

William Cope

www.wescotools.com

Still have not recieved my refunds:mad:

And it looks like thier site is down.

worst comes to worst, we all can do charge backs at westco. That would possibly put additional points on their merchant service fees for credit cards. I figure id I do not get my funds back in the next day, I plan on pursuing this option. Westco, you better get your *** in gear

picked up this at o'reilly's auto. not the best scanner but for the hundered bucks i spent it will do what i need.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002SQXOM/?tag=atomicindus08-20

it on close out so if you need a scanner, this is hard to beat for the price.

It's a pretty decent scanner. We had one in my shop to use as a back-up when the other two were in use. It would pull codes and data in cases where my Genisys didn't want to communicate. I'd give 100 dollars for one right now just to carry in my truck.

Not an AMAZING deal or anything like that but Wiha just sent me an email informing me of a new product which has recently become available and is on sale for 37% off. The price doesn't seem too bad. The website states that it was made in Germany and assembled in the USA. Could be good...

I tried adding one to my cart and going to check out. It looks like shipping would be $8.95 for UPS ground. HOWEVER, I tried to update the quantity to '10' and the shipping costs did not change... therefore, I'd recommend if you wanted to get this item you pick up some other sale stuff or things you need so as to offset the shipping cost and lessen the blow.

I regularly order from Wiha direct for their specials. Shipping is always 8.95 no matter how much or little you order.

CHICAGO POWER TOOLS MULTI FUNCTION OSCILLATING TOOL WITH 16PC ACCESSORY for $16 shipped from JC Whitney when you use the code JINGLE when you check out. I ordered one just for the heck of it but does anyone know what brand attachments it takes? It is going to **** if they are proprietary. This one is variable speed to unlike my HF one.

Cool, just ordered one. Can't go wrong for $16 shipped. Includes a 16 piece accessory kit, looks to be the same attachments as the other ones (HF,etc) but won't know for sure until it shows up at my door.

Hey, that's a great deal, especially if the attachments interchange. I have the HF version, but it's not variable speed either. I'm really tempted....

It's coming up $40 now. "JINGLE" gets you free shipping.
