Ain't that the truth.

I looked for line wrenches at sears today, they had one size on "sale" for $9.99. That pry bar set is a good deal though, I picked it up on black friday

Hmm, I just did the plier set and added the free cutter. The site let me so I figured it was ok, but in hindsight I don't think their web cart is sophisticated enough to dis-allow any of that based upon total.
Will I not get the free cutter I wonder?

I was cruising Sears (Atlanta-Northlake) Sunday, and I noticed a lot of Knipex stuff marked down, FYI.
The 3/8" and 1/4" Craftsman sets are on sale again for $9.99. Who knows if they are the USA or China versions.
Craftsman 10-pc 6 pt. 3/8" Dr. Standard Socket Wrench Set $9.99
Craftsman 10-pc 6 pt. 3/8" Dr. Metric Socket Wrench Set $9.99
Craftsman 11-pc 6 pt. Standard 1/4" Dr. Socket Wrench Set $9.99
Craftsman 11-pc 6 pt. Metric Socket 1/4" Dr. Wrench Set $9.99
No they have moved the raised panel production to China as well. It really just depends on if you just get a old stock kit as to what you get.Perversely, the cheap ratchets are still USA made.
For those of you who haven't found the $.97 sockets - are you scanning them or just looking? Most of the stores near me haven't gotten around to marking anything but the clearance prices are still in the system.
Below is what I've found. These, afaik, were true at four different Sears stores in CT (Corbin's Corner, Meriden, Enfield, and Buckland Hills). Only Meriden had anything marked. The local Sears hardware (Bristol) had all of these and more on clearance too but the prices were all higher ($1.88 for regular sockets and $4.88 for flex, iirc).

What sizes were you able to get? I didn't know that Sears sold gearwrenches individually.I managed to get some GearWrench ratcheting wrenches for $1.97 each. There were a few sizes, mostly larger SAE.
