Ac install completed today, just needs the electrical connection completed after stucco. I did not know it but code requires dual lights and a switch in the attic?
A Trane unit, it is huge, I poured a 3x3 pad and had to go back and pour a new 4x4 pad. I slid the 3x3 pad over and will use it for my compressor instead.
We had an attic fan growing up as a kid and I definitely wanted one for this shop. Having the ability to come home from work, open the windows and evacuate the warmer air via this fan will be great.
stucco materials get dropped tomorrow morning for Thursday install.

I bet the lights and switch are required because you have mechanical equipment in the attic. I could be wrong.

Looking good so far, but if I may give you a bit of advise, do not use that much flex duct. Do everything in rigid duct, round or square, and only use three to four feet of flex to connect the diffuser. Your fan coil (blower) will operate much better and get more airflow out of it. That flex duct is too much of a restriction for the air.
Much of the newer flex duct is far better designed with smooth inner walls. This can actually increase efficiency in some installations.

The insulation will go in next week. I hope to get framing and electrical inspection on Monday. My electrician needs to wrap up my 3 phase.
The foam went up today for stucco. You can tell the wife unit has been priming too.
FYI...the labeled foam below has to be flame resistant/proof or whatever that is why its different.

Coming together nicely, great work..
The scratch coat is on the exterior walls, they will be back in a week to put on the finish coat.
The interior is primed and the color started going on if you look close its over by the big door. Luckily my sister-n-law is a commercial painter....and yes, it was all applied by roller and brush, no sprayer.

Looking good Glen! Who did you use for your Garage Door?
I used Clopay. Overall the fit and finish of the door is great. I am also very lucky that my installer is very picky and understands what I want in a finished product. (Phoenix guys, Semper Fidelis garage doors is the installer)
1. we asked for nylon wheels with roller bearings and they shipped steel rollers. so now we have to swap them out.
2. We asked them to powder coat the panel hinges black so they didn't stick out like a sore thumb and it appears they rattle can'd them and the paint is flaking off.
The supplier of the door agreed to make good and swap out the parts, my installer held them accountable and I didn't have to get involved. Too bad, its a nice door but they dropped the ball on a few small items.
The Liftmaster 8500 is a great opener, smooth operation and should help increase the lifespan of the door, it slows down at the last 6" and seals shut.
Yes we are planning to run 10.5 Outlaw at SCSN, I have asked Steve Morris to fly out and help me with tuning and chassis setup, I am a rookie. The shop roof is 54x34, the enclosed portion is 40x30

The garage doors are awesome. I really like that look. Who made them or are they custom?
finally got the power hooked up this week.
90% of the electrical is completed, including 3Phase, AC, Compressor and lights.
The attic fan is awesome, I can turn it on and open windows on the opposite side of the room and feel the cool outside air coming in. The addition of the ceiling fans makes it breezy. I had those in the old shop, they are a steel blade industrial 5 speed fan.
There is a lot of talk on this board about lighting. This area is 1200 Sq. Ft and I put 10 qty. 8ft. long T5 fixtures. I ordered the 40 bulbs by the case and they are not here yet. I needed 8 bulbs for the carport so I bought them off the shelf and put them inside so I could work last night. These things are very bright.... It is going to be crazy with 40 bulbs lit.
I was really pissed when I found the concrete guys formed the seams.
I wanted to saw cut the lines and I thought they knew that. I used
this seam sealer and it flowed very nice. I plan to clear coat next weekend.

Glen, Im building a new shop here at my house right now too. And the floor is saw cut. I want to seam seal the saw cut. Do you remember what you used for yours in the pic? You shop is kick ***!

that is a nice shop, looking forward to more pictures and updates
they got the final coat of stucco on the front and north wall today. Its a synthetic blend stucco that is supposed to resist cracking. It is also color matched to my sample so I don't have to paint it. A friend has it on a 10 year old house and it still looks good.
also got the rest of the light bulbs in today via special order:
T5's are freaking bright.....be warned.
