You have done a fantastic job on your garage.
Nice bikes as well.
The new cabinets look great!
great idea for the AL. base in them!
I'm probably the only one on this site that LIKES the picture of all the salt on the floor. To me it just proves that your flooring is holding up and still cleans up nice.
Thanks for posting that shot. Interesting how angles and perspective can make all of the difference. You have a ton of room over there.
Salt doesn't make me cringe, as its something i had to deal with every year. BUT i still HATE it.
Very nice setup!!!!!
Eddie, I believe we met at PittRace last year (we discussed the importance of pitting procedures--the track day after the 'flying motorcycle' incident). I hope you're doing well and ready for this season (it's here)!
I've been a 'non-active' member on this forum for a few years, and this thread prompted me to take a closer look at a project that I want to complete in my two-car, attached garage. I really like what you've done, and might borrow some of your ideas!
Thanks for posting...
See you at the track!

A new bike again?!!!!?
What do you get a new one every season? If so what happens to last seasons ride?
That's one hell of an update! I'm interested to see how you get on with the R1. Are you allowed to keep all the electronics in your race series? What else are the plans for this beast?
Yes, since it's OEM, all Superstock classes allow the electronics - which is a huge jump among any manufacturer - and a big thing we're working on sorting out currently.
Other plans include the bodywork being painted, added parts here and there. Overall, just learning the bike as it's a whole new beast. We're leaving the motor stock for now, as power shouldn't be an issue and since we don't have much time before the first event. After that, we will likely drop the motor and do a Supersport build to it.
I'll keep posting pictures as we make progress.

Wow!!!
where did you find these lights? I've been looking for some for over tool drop down lighting.
Garage looks great
Jason
Wow, this place is nicer than my living room/kitchen/entire house![]()
That looks like a nice shopping list. A company here in Holland, Hoko Parts, had put one on the bench (along with a 1299S and a S1000RR), it put out over 200PS
Are you going to change the forks and shock too?

I like every single thing about this thread, the floor, in ground lift, butchers block, beautiful garage! There's some nice bikes sometimes too![]()
So you went to the dark side with the new R1. Hope it works out, switching manufacturers is always a fun task.
Ok - dream plans started.
Can you tell me where / what type of rugs you're using? I have a similar setup and I'm looking for something comfy on the knees, but still won't die when I splash some brake fluid.
Two questions not garage related- what exhaust are you going with and how difficult was it to remove the ABS without throwing a code?
Really making me miss Grattan
Great results! How does the new R1 compare to the Suzuki?

It's never fast enoughBut It get what you're saying.
On a demo ride I had a go on a Panigale 899 followed by the 1299S... felt the same until you opened them up. The 899 is fast, the 1299 is ballistic, awesome![]()
Wow. I went through this entire thread in one sitting! Completely astonished by your garage build. Inspired! I plan to steal some of your ideas....if that is okay with you
This was my second post but a lurker for the last year! Thanks for all the updates and the beautiful bike pics. I have recently acquired my first bike. Someone was messing with the carbs and I'm in the process of a complete tune-up/clean-up.
I may have missed it, but is there a toolbox in the trailer?
This came across my Facebook feed and I thought I recognized the helmet and bike. Congratulations on a successful season on a new mount.

Dang... missed the last updates somehow. Great to see you're using the new bike to the fullest!
