I got the Big red curved prybar for $5.00 with SYW points a while back.
Those adj wrenches are made nice are they not?

Yes.....I did not expect them to be this well made. I wish I had ordered 2 sets.

Sears has always been great on shipping times to me. One of their main warehouses near Chicago is where more of my purchases come from, and they usually arrive within two days at most. Many are next day. It helps that it's only a 3 hour drive away.

Now if only they would pack the boxes a little better...

Sears shipping getting better.....

Ordered a couple items over the past few weeks and was impressed with their shipping - 3 or 4 days for several items. Latest item was 2 sets of these:
http://www.sears.com/craftsman-2-1-...gclid=COrIy9KUpcsCFQIKaQodFMoNlw&gclsrc=aw.ds

Ordered Tuesday night, they arrived this afternoon - less than 24 hours, $22 shipped.!

how'd you get the free shipping on a $22 order.. SYWR max member?
Says free shipping on $35 order for me.

Yep, free shipping in conjunction with sale prices & points are most conducive to shopping there.

The jack stands aren't as heavy built as some, but for what I need - perfect. Just bought them to put under the axles on a 5th wheel to take some of the weight off the tires during storage.

Agreed. Sears has the worst packing. My 10"/12" adjustables came in one of those paper padded envelopes that barely fit. When I received it, it was torn open with strapping tape holding it all together.

No bubble wrap. I received a box which had no insulation, and the one of the three adjustable wrenches arrived protruded through the box.

Their shipping is pretty darn fast though.

Just have to be weary, some items which you might think are Made in the USA, are made in the China (New stock). Better to opt for store pick up in such situations. ;)

One of the managers told me that Craftsman is "slowly" bringing back the Made in USA presence. A little doubtful on that.

I would argue these newer Western Forge made in USA Craftsman adjustables are as good as *any* previous versions from the past. Certainly fit and finish is outstanding. But alas, these two are China now... You can still get them in SK version though from Western Forge when the Sears stock runs out of any US ones left. - Paul

I'd be very weary over such promotions. Prices have been jacked up prior to the release of such promotions. "Spring" forward indeed. Make sure to compare prices with other merchants before you proceed to checkout. After purchasing several Knipex products from Sears, one week later, Sears decided to raise the price of every Knipex product by $10

Also $10 in Points after purchasing $50 or more in merchandise is really not worth it. Prices constantly fluctuate. And getting $10 off a future purchase implies to keep on shopping. :p Not in my neck of the woods, ha

Lately, been getting $5 off $35.

The legit promotions are the $20 off $35 and $10 off $20. Anything $5 off, I'd want to cross-check the price consistency.

Should be on each order separate order... but I definitely not guarantee that. We've all been smacked in the face before by Sears.com promotions (and sometimes they benefit us).

Good advise above. The $10 off $20 have disappeared for me. I was cherry picking some tools $35 -40 with 50% off. Bought a few pencils to bump $19.95 item over $20 to get $10 off.

Sears has $30 off $30 save your way suprise points. make sure you click on them as a payment.

what makes this even the best deal is I used it 10 times, they keep giving you the $30. lots of socket sets close to $30

walked out of there with about $300 for about $20. their mobile site was so slow in the parking lot, I would have had more but figured I got what I wanted :)

What points? Are they regular surprise points? Because those are usually personalized offers...

It's another sad day for Craftsman fans if the regular adjustable wrenches are now made in China.

yeah $30 off $30 or more, except you can keep using it

The surprise points offer is supposed to disappear after the first time you use it, so you got some crazy programming error.

I recently got my mine, and all were Made in USA.

By the way, did you know that some 3-Piece Curved pry bar craftsman sets are now made in Taiwan. Yikes

I was wondering the same thing. I recall last year they had the 10 off 10 that you could roll, and I had free syw max shipping. Let's just say I got alot of 10$ items shipped to my home for pennies.
