There should be several offers. They seem to vary from day to day basis. I just received $10 off $50 directly as well.

You might get an offer in which you can redeem $8 on purchases $30 and up.

Then there is also $5 on $30 and up.

Also, $11 off $40

Best one is $20 off $30
and $10 off $20

how did you get this? I only have 10$ in surprise points?

Something is goofy with my account. I used to get surprise points constantly but haven't gotten any for a month.

If they come in from RPC, they're going back. The picture online shows made in USA on picture in the description.

I've seen a set for sale USA stock at a different store, I've been going back and forth , I think 3/4 impacts might kill two bird with one stone. And just get the ratchet separate.

They had it in stock, it's been on there shelf for a couple years. I check every time I go their if it is still there.

It's tempting to pull trigger for $150 less any SYW plus 5% discount for Sears credit card, then my cart also says I'd get 22,499 more SYW points. So looks like NET after all that would be $115 or $120 . . . that's pretty good for USA 3/4" drive set . . . although it's only SAE sockets.

I just couldn't pass it up. .. ended up around $117 and got $30 in point to use later

eh I just picked up the Kobalt 20pc 3/4 SAE set for cheap... I'd prefer USA but for the amount i'll actually use the set, the cheap Kobalt (Taiwan) will be fine. Still need to find a metric 3/4 socket set though.

I'm about due for tires on my Chevy C-2500 so I was looking around at brands.

This might be a deal others are interested in . . .
. . . . Guardsman LT all season tires suitable for trucks . . . . $ 105.99 each
LT 245/75/16 - - - 50K miles - - - Load Range E
http://www.sears.com/guardsman-lt-lt245-75r16e-all-season-tire/p-09569092000P

They charge another $15 to $20 per tire for installation, balance, valve stem, etc.

When I put 4 in shopping cart . . . it also shows 105,000 bonus points !!

Any one a fan of Guardsman tires from Sears ?? Would you recommend ??

^ ^ ^ These Guardian tires are now down to $ 93.88 each. All the add-on charges like balancing, stems, disposal, etc ADDS another approx $15 each so around $110 each all in. The 105,000 bonus points would be $105 of SYW dollars for future purchases.

I'll go check out tires and see if any good, and see who makes them.

Craftsman 5-Drawer Standard Duty Ball-Bearing Tool Center
$99 (Plus Tax) + Free Shipping
Great deal for a great price. The cheapest US General will get you at this price is one drawer.

Use $20 off $70 coupon, and pay $79 + Tax

I checked this in person at the store today. Decent, but not all that up there in terms of premium quality. 3-year warranty, Assembled in the USA with foreign components, 300lb total load capacity.

How much do you think this should be? May be I should consider something else within the same price range? I was hoping of getting out of the 19th-20th century, :lol_hitti

In all honesty, $50 is a stretch for those things. They're only useful for ocassional/lightweight homeowner use

$10.

Seriously, these are flimsy as hell. I got the intermediate chest to fit between my older model craftsman chest/cabinet. It's ****** garbage. Luckily I only paid $10 after points.

I'd just buy a Husky set.

Stay away from the Craftsman Homeowner and Standard Duty lines, they ****. I don't know about the Heavy Duty line.

The new premium or whatever top of the line in store ***** now. They were ok two years ago. The grip latch system which the promote use to be great, now half the drawers are assembled wrong or bent and the grip latch hardly engages them.

Thanks, but just to make sure, this is not to be confused with the Homeowner Tool Center, which is really subpar.

At least this one has the ball-bearing mechanism. Do you think its worth a try? What's the next cheapest alternative in respect to US General?

Thanks again

If you're gonna spend $100 on a chest/cabinet set, your best bet is to look on Craigslist for something used but much better quality.

Husky is gonna be the best when you compare low end brands (Kobalt, Craftsman, Harbor Freight, etc). Husky boxes are actually pretty nice now. They're about 10 times more rugged than those flimsy craftsman boxes.

I need a set of metric nut drivers and found on this forum that the last of the USA made ones are being cleared out. The Craftsman 7 pc. set fills the bill.

Went to Sears #1, SAE and Metric 7 pc. sets are all China, 12 pc. with pouch USA is discounted a couple of dollars and only a couple left.

Sears #2: 3 ea. SAE and 2 metric of USA made, 12 pc. pouch set all China and all are full retail price. One employee to cover tools, hardware and lawn equipment and about 6 customers waiting and I am on my way to pick up my grand daughter from work.

Sears #3 (actually a "hardware and appliance"): 1 each USA made SAE and metric 7 pc. sets, all 12 pouch sets are China. No "sale" price displayed. Manager agreed to price match the Sears web price. He reluctantly lowered the price to $15.99 (from $29.99) when I showed him Sear's web page on my phone.

It took some legwork but I am happy with the tool and the price.

I got my (11 piece? 12 piece?) USA nut driver set about 3 months ago on clearance at KMart. Nice set, but they're small.. I think they only go up to 11mm and 7/16?? Cant even remember what I paid, think it was $15.

edit: actually I think it was this 14 piece set:
http://www.kmart.com/craftsman-14-p...0934070000P?prdNo=14&blockNo=14&blockType=G14
edit2: nvm, it was a 12 piece set, just looked at a picture of the zipper case that I sold.
