They say no warranty, because its a "991" merchandise, dunno
its 50% off already
Weird. I was told by one of the workers that I had no warranty on the clearance stuff. Cashier told me when she was ringing my router that I could buy warranty. Manager was right behind her and he said I had option of buying warranty and that I also had 30 day warranty on the used/clearance item from Sears.
Worked out for me. My router was 75% off too. Got a killer deal.
Well went today, got it for $316 with a 2 year extended warranty.... some employees are so dumb!!
You got $1270 in points after buying something for $316?
Ending up not ordering anything. Was tempted to get a $11.99 25' cman rubber garden hose but couldn't get it to work since it was tools only. This would be a great deal:

The quick release (aka locking) extensions are nice. Taiwan-made, if I remember correctly.
If you don't want to click on the link, the 3 piece, 3/8 inch set is on sale for $11.99.
Heres a good one for anyone looking for a set of flare nut wrenches

except they're soft as wet tp
so whos are you buying, or recommend?
I use Gearwrench flex head flare nut wrenches. Actually I think mine are husky branded, but HD doesn't carry the flex head anymore. They're both made by Apex.
A lot of people recommend SK but they're quite a bit more expensive.
If you decide on SK, look on eBay. You can usually find decent prices on "like new" sets.
Check your surprise points, everybody. I just got $10 in surprise points on any DeWalt purchase. I don't think that I ever got a brand-specific offer before.
These points are appearing on Sears.com, but NOT shopyourway.com.
Very strange.
I got this email too but it doesn't work at all. I added some DeWalt product in cart but no surprise points pop up.
Is it a $10 off $10? maybe $10 off $500?

I don't know if there is a minimum, but it works for me on this:

but not on this:

The drill is not a bad deal if you have SYW max and are willing to pay out of pocket to get points back. I am showing about $35 in points back with three separate points back offers that stack, so with the surprise points it costs about $90 - $35 points back or $55 net.
If anyone finds any low cost items that the Dewalt surprise points work on, please post here.
I have $5 off $20. Any thoughts in tools. I am running out of ideas and have plenty of tool bags.

I know some of you think that seeing the 3-pc Craftsman pry bar set on clearance means that they will all be replaced with foreign-made equivalents.
Before you go and stockpile all those old USA sets, take a look at these photos:
