I've been getting $5 in Surprise Points, but can't really find anything in that price range with free shipping. At checkout, all I see available is in-store pickup. Decided to purchase a bunch of bathroom accessories instead.

Wobble extensions have been discounted at $10... 3pc prybars are still around $18...

If there is no minimum and no section restriction, lawn & garden accessories can be cheap... New some 2-cycle oil, filters, or spark plugs for your weedeater or mower?

Just found this in my Sears store.

To be honest, that seems like where it should be priced.

No, I already have all the tool chest space I need right now, what I'm running out of is wall and floor space. It kills me not to snag one but now just isn't the time I'm afraid.

I just scored some Lisle magnetic socket racks, about $10 each, and Craftsman Knipex Cobra pliers, $33 for 7" and 10".

Local clearance pricing. Not too bad, going by Amazon and eBay prices. $53 out the door, after a $10 off $50 coupon from the Sears website.

Sorry for not getting on here to share, but the deal was short lived. For about an hour today, the Sears website was offering $10 in SYW points on all kinds of things. Combined with some points back coupons, and assuming they actually award the points, I will have netted nearly $400 from 6 orders.

That is, $400 more than what I paid :shocking:

I was ordering open stock Armstrong tools....1 of each, starting with the lowest priced sockets (about $5 - $6 each), and getting $10 in bonus points for each item. After the 6th order the website was no longer awarding the bonus points.

Did anyone else get in on this today?

Yes I just bought 1 of the gladiator cabinets. I was going to get 2 but noticed i could get a lot better pricing by ordering them in 2 different transactions.

The first one I got for $48 with some SYW pts, awesome price for it. Went to do the next one, knowing i didnt have any pts left so it would be higher.

I couldnt get it any lower than the listed sales price. not even a extra points back after order.

I saw this but was concerned they would claw back the points and maybe close my account. I get enough nearly free Knipex, Wera, Wiha, and USA made adjustable wrenches and pliers that the risk was not worth it to me. You will have to follow up with us with what happens. Hope you get all the points and stuff.

I would have given it a try if someone posted it... Was it just a glitch, or is there a coupon link or something?

I wouldn't be surprised if they take back their points. But I hope you get to keep & spend them though!

Was a glitch, absolutely everything was giving ten bucks additional in points and points were rolling.

The quality of the Craftsman USA adjustable wrenches is outstanding. I have about 5 different sizes of these. I think they are made by Western Forge, but not sure.

Are these USA ones? I have an older USA cman pro adjustable and its

edit: recent reviews seem to confirm USA, but the stock pictures don't have usa visible.

Craftsman 75-piece Combination Tap & Die Carbon Steel Set
Price: $137.99
Earn: $82.79 in points = apparently that is not a typo?

or use $10 off 50 coupon for $127 w/75 points back. = That's net $52 or 65 cents a piece.

This sears website shopping is driving any semblence of normalcy out the door.

I got the 6" last week, still made in the USA and very nice.

I went to pick up a heater yesterday (cold snap in Houston left every Home Depot sold out, Sears had a full selection - people apparently don't even think of going there!) and found one of the red 4-1/2 inch Craftsman Professional bench Vise (9-51888) - still in its box sealed shut. Hasn't been on the shelf for over a year, so they must have found it in the warehouse. Wasn't in the system, so the manager settled on $40. I was pretty pleased, until I remembered that I really don't need another vise.... I was originally thinking of putting it on my rolling cart, but I think it is probably too heavy - anyone tried this?

Nice Find! I didn't even know if they still sold those, totally forgot about them.

It helps if the store doesn't get around to labeling it with a clearance price. Found one a year ago and it rang up $29.97. Actually, come to think of it, they had the clearance price on the back side, so no one could see it. I think I was the only one willing to pick up the heavy thing and try to flip it around to find a price anywhere on the box.

Yep, my account history shows
150,000
-150,000
120,000
-120,000
140,000
-140,000

etc.

I guess if you had spent it all fast enough, you would have a huge negative balance that you could simply just walk away from. :eyecrazy:

Did you have trouble returning everything?
