Note to everybody else:

At least our hero is getting good at making promises.

Dan:

We feel like the lonely wife, waiting for you to come home and give us some attention.

Awe shucks xtremek. That makes me feel all fuzzy.

Rod, the WOC is to be delivered here within a couple of weeks. I have thoughts as to where they with go but nothing concrete yet.

Bobby, there's no way I'm letting my wife call you. I'd probably be in the dog house from the tales you'd tell her.

Shorty, I'll get another picture up of the Olds. I finally got the front seat all back together and back bolted in where it belongs. Now I'm going to try and fake my way through getting the top put on.

Andy, it was. I guess it weighed close to six hundred pounds. The shop crane felt it. The only one I've ever replaced that was heavier was a ford 460. That was a beast. I have no other pictures of the swap, sorry.

Thanks for stopping by guys.

Dan does this mean you are shoveling snow for the winter instead of sunshine?

Ha, the curse of the ever changing WOC continues.

Sorry you and the Mrs. aren't going to enjoy some warm Florida sun. There's always next time.

I'm finishing up my free trailer project. Scored the trailer for free out of a house getting torn down. 5.5x8 tilt bed trailer. Put tires and new lights/wiring on it and built the sides to make it a little more useable.

WOW! Super cool!!!

I had never seen it, just heard stories. Man did you ever deliver:rocker::rocker:

Promises, promises. Just wait till you see what happens next.:dunno::willy_nil

We're getting a small 18-24" dusting of snow today. I think I'll have some time to devote to moving the boxes around. I'll try to take a few pictures if I can remember.

Dan, I know Mainers are tough but "dusting of snow?" The Weather Channel is have an ****** usually reserved for hurricanes, over winter storm Orson:

"Winter Storm Orson was undergoing bombogenesis as of Monday morning.
In order to meet the criteria of "bombing out," the central pressure of a low-pressure system must drop at least 24 millibars within 24 hours. This typically happens when there is a large temperature gradient, usually between a cold continental air mass and warm sea-surface temperatures.

(BOMBOGENESIS: Another Rapidly Intensifying Storm)
Storms that reach this threshold are accompanied by very heavy precipitation and strong winds, like we are seeing with Orson.
Winter Storm Niko underwent bombogenesis, and it is unusual to see a second system within four days also expected to reach bombogenesis criteria in the same area."

Sounds like a good time to turn up the heat in the garage and play tool box tetris. Be safe and let us know how it goes.

Dan. Glad the boxes arrived safely, but also disappointed that I did not get to meet you in person. You could have had a good time here with the Florida Chapter. Well actually we are planning a good time anyway but now you don't get to share it. we'll lift a glass to you anyway. Wear the shirt on Saturday 25th, a few of us are heading to Flywheelers and I expect we will all be wearing ours.

Yes, I'm kinda disappointed myself but I'm sure he'll be down here for a visit. Anytime we get together we wear are shirts and should have a good time at Flywheelers. Dan can be there in spirit.

Holy Cow, twice. The WoC is huge and cool. 18" of snow in one dump is probably over double what we've had all year and I would guesstimate we usually get 20"-24" in a normal in January and the same in February. I expect to see open water on our pond soon. The warmest February I ever remember.

The WOC made it! Awesome!!!! I see your existing boxes will have to get a gray base with red drawer paint job. Would have been nice to see you but there's always next time.

Yep, it sure is impressive. Looking forward to the 1st arrangement, because I'm sure there'll be more than 1.

Did those plates turn up yet?

Hey Dan, I just caught up on the thread again...

Congratulations on the arrival of the WOC, you know that you you'll have to shuffle them on a regular basis because that's what they have been used to.

And... Great job on the Olds seats - I love the Strato-bench.

I'd be careful about shuffling, those poor casters have lots of miles on them:lol_hitti

Dan, did you open all the drawrs and let that Florida sunshine and heat out? I know you all can use it.

Thanks guys, all of you.

I've got a couple of pictures for you. First one is for all you warm weather guys. This is what happened here yesterday. This is looking at my back deck around 3:00 in the arvo. Mind you, 7 days ago the ground was bare.

20170213_155755.jpg

Gerard, Craig, Stewart, Andrew, I will get there some day and the best part is when I do, it'll be all pleasure. I won't have to worry about renting a trailer or packing boxes and hopefully having good weather for an 1800 mile drive.

Sorry about the fuzzy photo but you get the idea.

Yep that's 22' 4" of Craftsman.

So it begins, I've been Gerarded. First set up that I'm sure will change. And Shorty, I'm with you on the uniform paint. But that's gonna have to wait.

It looks awesome Dan. You know you might just have to line all those up by year and era. LOL. [emoji482]

See Dan, with the purchase of the WOC ( vintage), it comes with free layout, lineup, positioning and other OCD detailing.:lol_hitti:lol_hitti

If you take a video of the entire wall, all 22' of it, send to G, I bet he could download to his TV and stare at it for you, or maybe teach you!:D

All in fun.

Can we get one of those hooters chicks to come and have 12 photos taken sitting on them ? We can just use that as the new calendar.

Sorry Gerard, that is one of your presidential duties.

That WOC looks great in its new home. Sorry about all that snow but I'd be lying if I said I missed it here. For some reason Michigan has been spared this winter so far. It's not over yet but I'm glad for the easier time we've had so far.
Heard song birds in the woods next to my house today so can spring be far behind? Be careful digging out of that white stuff and definitely more pics of the WOC as it develops into its working state.
