This dropped to .03 pricing. I'd needed one.

So why was it not covered? Surely they gave you an explanation? What did they say when you called about the battery and inquired where it was at?

Oosh, ridgid fanboys need to take a walk around the block and a deep breath.

No one blinks in a harbor freight bashing thread. Say you have trouble with Ridgid's LSA and out come the pitchforks...

Found a Milwaukee bottom to go with the $50 top. With Lowes coupon, it was $190, so $240 for the set. Also found what the PCA showed to be the last Dewalt top in the area for $120.

Universal Natural Gas hose kit pennied... I was browsing the clearance section at my local store and noticed they were all missing... I walked to the other clearance in the back of the store when I remembered I set one after deciding not to buy it (and too lazy to walk halfway across the store to put it back in it's proper place)... It was still there all by its lonely self... :)

Now I just need a gas grill so I can hook it up to the NG line on my back patio...

Milwaukee's still at $698...

They did drop the Husky 52" to $498 (from $598)....

I also noticed they dropped a bunch of chlorine (for pool) down to .02 price as I was walking around there she was updating the labels...

Called a couple local home depot's and their all selling the Milwaukee 46 top for $299. Looks like deals dead, or it was never clearanced in my district. There are some people flipping them on Craigslist for ~200 tho.

How are you guys finding deals on the 46" bottoms though? I had always planned on going with the HF general to replace my craftsman 26" junk but I can piece together a Milwaukee set for $500 I'd be happy.

My store had the dewalt bottoms for $262 for like a month... I think they only had a couple though... Guess I should have grabbed it when I had the chance.

Was hoping to find a killer deal for a large top+bottom (41"+)

Never call, never trust what a HD employee tells you in regards to price or inventory. You basically alerted that employee to the deal and if they had any, that employee probably got them.

My local HD has the compact brushless drill/impact drill/light for $279. Is that a good deal or no?

So yeah my store has dropped the Milwaukee 46" lowers from $280 to $240. But they don't reflect any in store (and haven't for a long time).

What a bummer, I finally found one of those ladders at a store I don't normally go it. Have someone help me get it down, and I bring it to the register thinking I finally scored. Thing rang up $99.98. Smh. Look like it's going back as regular stock in stores again.

Did it have styrofoam at the ends of the packaging?

Yep. The 250lb one. Sku 1001-326-583. After it rang up as that price, I looked at the website and sure enough, it's showing stock for area stores again (it definitely didn't when the price went to $30.03). Also, $99.98 matches the website, previously it said $159 online.

Wow, I wonder if so many were left over that they returned them to stock. Maybe Werner refused to accept a return. I'm sure someone knowledgable will chime in.

I just looked at the store where I purchased all the remaining ladders except two, I posted up here hoping locals would grab them. I called the next day and they were all gone. It's now showing 4 in stock. Now I'm really curious if anyone has even seen a penny item go back to stock.

the 250 lb MT1-22 goes through this cycle often. It comes in for special events, goes through a clearance cycle and then the price goes back up for the next event. I bought a full pallet of 8 at a store a few weeks ago at the clearance price. That store now shows $98 and they show 8 on order. It did the same thing last year.

Seen some storm doors on clearance today.

And tons of "Roman shades" as well. All different sizes.

It happens a lot. Seen it with tool boxes, sprayers, garage door openers and accessories.......

yes, plenty of people making inventory decisions @ HD that seem to have not realize there is an accounting half to the business.

Ryobi 4ah 2-pack batteries might be the most widely recognized example. They will be back at least once before next x-mas. Though one can say they should do that, in order to make sure they get rid of the older batteries.

but plenty of other things that don't make sense. i got the M12 circular saw for ~$60 last year (went for $150) to only see it normally stocked at the same store not 2 weeks later.
