I wouldn't count on this having any value in the event of a bankruptcy, but I agree that it is still a ways off.
Looks like a potential HEADACHE for the buyers that are #351 and higher.
There cannot be a buyer 351 - the items go OOS and unavailable when the 350th one is sold.
How do you know the item will go OOS? Not trying to start a debate here, but I do not trust Sears has a good system that can report accurate inventory.

Might also be the geographic area, Sears is expanding in this area and just started building yet another store.
A new Sears store?
Or do you mean one of those small franchise stores like Sears Hometown or Sears Hardware?
Yes, a new full line Sears store.
Contrary to media fluff, Sears is not really declining, they are more refocusing on profitable areas and product lines. Sales are growing in many areas in the Midwest, so they are adding stores to better meet demand in under served areas.
I have been a customer of a store that went bankrupt twice, had points in both cases and the bankruptcy court honored them. Seems to be the norm, but there may not be any guarantees.
but still have not shared the address for that new store.
Strange to hear that. Usually gift cards & rewards are the first thing approved to be written off the books in bankruptcy.
Sure did, you just missed it.

LOL, I was there today too picking up my C3 Jigsaw!
I saw they had one of those fancy clamps like: http://www.sears.com/craftsman-12-in-bar-clamp/p-00931482000P sitting on the table between all the tools...
Thanks again — this was well packed for shipment. Excellent deal for $100 w/ $50 in points.
In contrast the $100 Sandusky taupe cabinet in the background was delivered with only honeycomb cardboard covering the corners — the second one I had ordered was totalled by UPS.
Here's a neat old photo of a Sears tool department from the 1950s, that somebody in the Habitat ReStore thread shared this evening, I thought some of you might like to see it.

Theres so much america in that picture. If I were to walk into that I think my brain and wallet would explode. Funny it looks like harbor freight does now. Those men back then didn't know how good they had it.

All that stuff is available used on Craigslist, ebay, etc... and I love buying and cleaning it up, most don't even need a full rebuild and even then is still around half the price of new and let's just say twice as well built.Theres so much america in that picture. That is an 18" clamp on the table. I got the 24" clamps. Have you tried your new jig saw?
Yeah, I think the hammer section is the only part of that photo still mostly comparable today.![]()
I haven't seen a hammer selection like that in a Sears store in a very long time.
Hometown store "hammer section"... at least the wooden handle ones are USA...

Obviously your mileage will vary a lot more at the Hometown stores. So now I have points pending well into 2019 after that gas trimmer purchase yesterday, my points log looks crazy. Almost $9 to start every month paired with win it earnings and cashback on clearance purchases instore I think this will work out nicely as long as it lasts.

It is nice how they go ahead and add all the monthly payouts up-front as pending, so you can see promptly that it worked.
The "dried up offers" are the result of Sears grasping their last breaths..... Looks like the end is here.
