well...i keep telling myself i'm not going to get any deeper into sears owing me points. i keep telling myself that and i honestly mean it....but boy do they have me on the hook big time.
so my buddy from work bought this weedeater the other day
https://www.sears.com/a036002-57inch-26.5cc-trimmer/p-A017969301
id looked at it with him so it was on my recent views. well he bought it for $125 and a day or so later i got an email about a price drop, so i told him about, he chatted with a rep and got a $35 credit.
cool deal, its all over with i think. until they send me another email saying its dropped again. i want to help my buddy so i click the link from my email and see that the price is the same as last time. no biggie. but before i can close the window sears pops up $20 freecash on lawn and garden today only. and the thing is i need a weedeater, just didnt want to pay much for one and since lowes lets their employees cancel online orders and steal them, both me and the guy from work couldnt get in on those deals.
so anyway, i used just enough in points to get it down to $50 and now sears owes me even more than i ever wanted to get into them for. they need to make it through at least january before going bankrupt to really make me feel like i got some killer deals, but even at the prices im paying im not too unhappy with what ive got
long story short: open your sears emails and click on some links--you might be able to score some even better deals
btw...75/75, 300/300, 200/200, 50/50, 125/125 are currently what im owed. so when the next round of payments come through in october i should get ~$120 in points.
