Looks decent, I ordered one for pickup to use the $10 in points deal.
Looks like a pretty handy tool for cutting smaller diameter rubber hoses.

Has any one purchase additional accessories for the 2.5 Gal Craftsman wet/dry Shop vac that was on sale during the Black Friday deals? I am currious what extras are good for this shop vac.
Additionally I purchased The Craftsman Pro AC/DC Clamp Meter and got the $30 in points, 10% off for thankYOU code and last but not least the $40 Credit for using the sears Mastercard. I really like this meter so far and for the price I am paying I really can't complain.

I pickup some 2-3 gallon shop vac bags from Walmart for my two.
Changed the link to Walmart and not third party item.

Yep, there's supposed to be an F&F sale Dec 9-11 online / Dec 9 in-store.
Dates I saw are a bit different, but you never know with Sears.

Dang, I must have missed that sale! I was looking at it right after I bought the vacuum, but it was full price. Then I didn't look at it again until it was back to full price again. d'ohThank you for the links and info Hexan. I was looking at the car kit and it was about $13 or so last week. I should jave got it then. I think I am going to spend the $30 in points on my Fridge water filtersince it needs replacing.

Just an FYI, while most of the premium-branded tools (Wera, Wiha, Mayhew, Knipex) seem to have left Sears.com, you can still cash in points on Grip-on locking pliers. These are the OEM for snap-on, I believe. Really great tools.
New texting coupon! Text FROSTY to SEARS (73277) to receive:
" Get $10 off your qualifying Sears purchase of $10 or more!
Valid only from 12/03/18 - 12/07/18
In Store Only. Not Valid at Closing Stores.
Associate Instructions:
1) SYW membership required
2) Member/Associate must open the coupon through the link provided in the text and see Christmas lights flashing
3) No photocopies, screenshots, printouts allowed "
If you have any freecash surprise points offers also valid this week, they need to be used separately from this, as usual.
Corporate stores only, not Hometown.
If any of you still have a nearby Kmart, there is also a $5 in-store-only coupon available for Kmart by texting JINGLE to 56278, same terms (expires 12/7).
Good to know. But with the increased free shipping limit at $59 and no in-store pickup, it does make it a little less enticing.
Gonna venture to see what other shiny gems are left.
I know I can not use my points there.
The local hometown store has a tool box that apparently someone ordered and did not want it anymore so they been reducing the price trying to sell it. I notice the tool box that I am interested in, if I buy it online, I get ~$30 cashback in points.
Question is, does anyone know if I buy this box at local hometown store, will I get some cashback? My guess is no. I know I can not use my points there.
Are you sure? Every Sears Hometown I've been to, has been able to redeem SYW points.
Thanks for the info.Doohickie the DMM was 89.99 iirc but the lady in the store gave me an aditional 10% off so total OTD was less than $89 after tax. Subract $30+$40= an additional $70 off and it is like I am paying less than $20 for it. In all fairness though I am still paying $48.** for it on my Sears Master card.
link to box online? price in store?
personally id make them an offer if its what you want and theyve been dropping the price on it--but keep in mind the F&F event this weekend so you might want to wait until then. you cant price protect in store orders through chat if it drops lower
my big tool box was a return from something someone ordered/put on layaway and didnt pay for and i think i got a great price on it
Yes I am sure. I have asked before. Are you sure? Every Sears Hometown I've been to, has been able to redeem SYW points.
just got another text from that # w a $10 off $25 valid at kmart through 12/12, in store or onlineIf any of you still have a nearby Kmart, there is also a $5 in-store-only coupon available for Kmart by texting JINGLE to 56278, same terms (expires 12/7).
I stopped redeeming points at the local Hometown store a long while back, because of the owner's grumbling about not getting compensated for the redemption portion (unless it's an online order).
Unless Sears Hometown & Outlet has totally abandoned SYW like Lands' End recently did, you should still be able to earn the base 1% in points.
not sure if they have this 26" in stock at your local hometown, or if you just want/need 5 drawers, or if it is a good bit under $200, but the price for the 4 drawer is usually ~$170 or below. you might want to watch it this weekend and see if the price goes down and you can order online (and use a coupon) and there might be a good amount of difference for just one less drawer. just an idea anyway.

He said they've "gone back to a corporate store" but also said it's for sale and needs an owner.
Is this even possible? What happens to Hometown stores in limbo? Can they even be in limbo? I always figured if a franchisee walked away the store would just have to close, period.
This. I swore off my Hometown store. I only recently stepped foot in there again to get my 26" "dresser" and the sales guy who has been there for a SHOCKINGLY long time remembered me and told me the owner has been gone for a long time now, said he saw her chase off 4 customers in one day once.

Yep I remember the F&F sale. I am just getting my ducks in a row, and been negotiating with the wife tooand crossing my fingers it is not sold by Sunday!
...
They changed the dates from what we'd first expected - the first day of F&F is now going to be Sat Dec 8, instead of Sun Dec 9, and it will run through next Fri instead of Tue. The banner doesn't clarify if it will be in-store throughout that timeframe, or only on the first day the way it usually is, and online-only for the rest of the time.

Thanks @Hexen. Can’t believe they do not make it clear what day or if online and/or in-store.
FYI for anyone else who's been eyeing this Sears item:
GearWrench 35 pc. MicroDriver Set
https://www.sears.com/gearwrench-micro-driver-set-35-pieces/p-00930035000P
$24.99 regularly, not on sale right now unless you use the 10% off code, haven't seen it go below $20 [at Sears, that is... Amazon had it for $13 briefly a couple weeks ago]
There is what seems to be to be a very similar set, probably from the same manufacturer, but in what I think is a better-designed case, at Lowe's:
Kobalt 35-Piece Standard (SAE) and Metric Polished Chrome Mechanic's Tool Set
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-35-...c-Polished-Chrome-Mechanic-s-Tool-Set/3387640
I've been waiting for it to go on sale, and now it has... $19.98 regularly, $12.98 sale until 12/5 (ends tomorrow).
I plan to go buy one tomorrow using my e-GC from a texting thing Lowe's did on Black Friday morning.
stock stuffersChecked this morning and still on sale 12.98 minus 10% if you generate a code. Got a few forstock stuffers
If I had to guess they are ending the F&F on the 14th to avoid people using their points from previous promos which will deposit on the 15th of each month.
I didn't order online in the first place because if anything goes wrong with an online order that you use a Lowe's gift card on, you risk having a huge hassle getting it refunded and possibly only being able to spend it in-store after that. But there wasn't much choice now, so hopefully it works.
yep. any lowe's GC purchase goes back as "store credit" which then can't be used online and has the ID requirement.
