good 1! do u know this place for info?Mine, first Williams I have found in Norway![]()
thanks, but my calculation shows only bout 18 wrenches coming of the 41 the board displays. i think the "s" wrenches maybe the toughest to find.Wrench: very cool and nice that you found a good spot to hang it. Also looks like you’ll have it full of wrenches soon. Well done sir!!

If it says "LIGHT SERVICE WRENCH" on the shank, it's probably not correct. These are older, with a 3-digit model number with a prefix (6) embedding the later 2-digit model number that wrenchguy is looking for. I posted two of them here. Post #386. EDIT: Personally, I would probably use them anyway, but that's up to Wrenchguy. It's his big *** wrench board!I did find one that says light service but it’s kinda rough condition I’ll post it on here this evening.
They all have two size markings; in some cases, the wrench is covering one of the markings. I assume this is because the wrenches are from all different eras, and the length varied a bit relative to what the board-maker was expecting. I also find that they don't quite all fit next to each other if I have the larger open end facing up on all the wrenches, again suggesting the dimensions varied a little over time.HAHA! Now that's how to show an update! Well done, tym.
Why do some of the DOE wrenches only have one size marking on the board? That confuses me.
And what size is the DOE wrench with the darker finish?
I'm not sure if these are vintage or not, but I'm interested in getting a larger set of combo wrenches. This 9pc Superwrench set is for sale locally, they want $95, it doesn't seem that even good wrenches go for much money now because all the mechanics seem to use ratcheting wrenches or socket a lot more these days.
Is this a value? How old? Quality wrenches? Better options?
Thanks for any info,
That set is really nice, they are vintage. And that’s not a bad price, it does go up to 1-1/2. Very high quality .
I would say 95 is a steal for those. Each larger piece say 1-1/4 and up has more value. They’re in nice condition. I would say your 1-7/8 alone is worth around 30-40 by Itself. Maybe more
