The Sears BF deals are a big MEH.Some prices are not even matching what is advertised in the BF ad.

Maybe some can take advantage of this early BF offer available for today:
Craftsman LED Pocket Light - Blue $4.99 with 100% cashback in points
Only the blue one. The 100% is calculated on your OOP payment, minus taxes.
"Members get 100% CASHBACK in points when you purchase a Blue Craftsman LED Pocket Light at Sears. Points award immediately and are good for 7 days. LIMIT 4 per member. While supplies last.Valid through November 24, 2019 11:59 PM CST"

Deal center link still goes to Yikes for me.
Thanks for sharing the LED light deal. I still haven't gotten one of those yet (there's been posts about them several times in the past), and I'm hopefully about to spend more than $5 OOP on something else, so it seems like it makes sense to get the light almost-free too (only come out behind by the amount of sales tax).
Please provide link and/or screen shot to the price mismatch so I can help.
So with Lowe's carrying craftsman, has anyone try to warranty CF item (bought at Sears) at Lowe's?
I have this digging fork that I broke over the weekend.
https://www.sears.com/craftsman-4-tine-d-handle-digging-fork/p-07183517000P
Lowes has similar (different length, and it has hardwood handle vs fiberglass)
https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-...0zHfge6Q1rdDDwFtlnBoC62AQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Any thoughts if I should try to warranty it at Lowe's? Nearest hometown store is ~40 min away, so not worth ~2hr for this.
These are now under $2 and they make great peanut butter stir sticks.

What does it hurt to ask?
Though, complaints on the Craftsman Facebook page seem to indicate that Lowe's employees are checking the model numbers. So, most likely they will give you the Craftsman phone number to call, and then the Craftsman menu system will transfer you to Sears.![]()

They delisted all the craftsman ornaments lol. Guess I should have bought them when they were 5.99.
Does Sears ever have "points not eligible for redemption" on anything on-line?
I saw that disclaimer when Sears was updating my order cart, but when I looked at my orders, there was no longer a disclaimer.
Any strategies or tips, eg waiting on daily fluctuations in this price?
If you think the price is coming down in the next 30 days you can gamble to buy it now and price match later. You can also try chatting PS and/or Sears CS. Tell them that you want to buy now but price went back up. Can they honor the price from yesterday?
Not sure if this has been mentioned earlier in the thread, but they are selling the 92in adjustable workbench for $150 (the 72 is $100 more).
https://www.sears.com/craftsman-96-...b849cc0105711ea83d300b20a24060c&utm_source=CJ
On top of that, there was $25 cashback points, so total came to $125 with free store pickup.
Thanks.
Can you walk me through how to price match?

Sometimes freecash doesn’t work on stuff like Hot Buys. The disclaimer you saw I think was added with the new cart and sometimes pops up when it’s loading.

Thanks, Hexen.
There's a K-Mart kinda far from my place. I haven't been in one in years. Is it worth it to stop by there to look for deals, or is Sears the better place?

I am seeing $100 in bonus points. That is pretty awesome deal.

The bottom rolling cart is missing the handle:

Where do I find the handle? Part number?
Thanks

I was browsing the Lowe's BF ad again, and remembered your missing tool box handle.
Since Stanley Black & Decker bought out Waterloo, some of the Craftsman boxes at Lowe's might be using the same handle used on your Sears Craftsman box. So I wonder if you can order that handle from SBD.
Of course, you'd have to inspect a display tool box at a Lowe's store, and verify that the positions of the mounting holes all match up to the Sears version.

Someone at SD said this afternoon that the in-store $10 texting coupon is only good on a single item that costs $10+, unlike all previous coupons that allowed combining multiple items to reach the threshold. I used mine on a single item, so I can't confirm if that's accurate.
That means Sears is losing another income stream.A few days ago, I commented on this offer. I tried it on my SYW phone and a phone not registered with Sears. I never got the coupon reply back, and that was on 11/24/19, when the $10 off $10 was supposed to take effect.
If anyone got this coupon, would they post it here?
I used mine on three items today for $10.82. Two Craftsman 9” magnetic torpedo levels and the bag of spring clamps Hexen mentioned 3-4 pages back. The levels were the older black ones on clearance hence half the price of the red one still listed in the system. I have check the country of origin.
Thanks for confirming the coupons do still work on multiple-item combos....So, in conclusion, my new theory is that Ace Hardware has decided to switch to SBD-Craftsman ("New Craftsman products are here", they say), and is gradually dumping their remaining stock of Sears-Craftsman products to Northern Tool. That means Sears is losing another income stream.
On that link, I compared some of the Craftsman prices to Sears.com and found all of them cheaper on Sears.com
[corrected link to the metric set]These ratcheting wrenches are marked down from $109 to $29.

Anyone have any comment on quality and what they're really worth?
Thanks.
Finally had time to check out my Northern Tool store today. They had run out of the pre-BF free item I wanted, so that was disappointing, but I was able to see the Craftsman stuff.
What I looked at was all on one endcap. I didn't go up and down every aisle, but this was the only Craftsman area I noticed with a quick look around. I think there was supposed to be a toolbox, maybe that was off with other toolboxes.
Nothing had production date stickers on the back like I'd hoped. They do all say 'Distributed by Sears Brands' or similar references to Sears, in the fine print.
The screwdriver sets are made in USA by Western Forge ("WF" on the handles). All the other items are made in China.
Craftsman 104 pc. Mechanic's Service Set

I had thought this was still being sold by Sears - $99.94 sale, $339.99 regularly - since it loaded with a ship-to-home option the first time I looked at the page, but reloading it a few minutes later has it now saying "Temporarily unavailable", so I dunno. The item number on the box at NT is 9-32104, while the one on the Sears page is 00998944000 (9-98944).
That Sears product page claims it's been around since 2010, but I bet that's a lie copied-and-pasted from a previous incarnation, since the reviews are all from 2018 and 2019.
It looks like the one NT got is actually this one that Ace Hardware got under the 932104 item number, actively for sale at $99.99: https://www.acehardware.com/departments/tools/hand-tools/sockets/2136984 ("00932104")
The cordless drill is from the C3 19.2v line, item number 9-46138. Apparently that line has been around since about 2000ish, which is amazing that anyone is still selling any of it, but the last time a new tool was added to the line was 2014, according to this (and now everything except the basic drill and a 3pc kit have been discontinued). The 3/8" drill is still actively being sold by Ace under the matching 00946138 item number, for $89.99: https://www.acehardware.com/departments/tools/power-tools/cordless-drills/2401735
I didn't find it active on the Sears site under any item number. It has had several other numbers that have been discontinued.
The sander is item number 9-11218, a 5-in 2.8-amp design with very little red on the tool body. (There have been several other sanders with similar specs in a flashier-looking body with more red accents.)
Previously sold by Sears, no longer available: https://www.sears.com/cm-2.8amp/p-00911218000P
The Sears page claims it had only been around since 2016, which seems implausible for such a dated-looking design. They even have a product photo of a very old-looking box (the one at NT has a newer box design than that).
I could not find a page on the Ace website still listing this item (Ace seems to have recently switched to the new SBD-redesigned 3-amp Craftsman sander, and they are unfortunately much quicker than Sears at removing dead product pages), but I know Ace used to sell the sander as 00911218, thanks to this old deal webpage: http://findnsave.sfgate.com/offer/C...al-Sander-28-amps-12000-opm00911218/62341469/
The easy-release locking pliers set is item number 9-45713, the same number I bought them under at Sears a few years ago, though they are no longer available from Sears. https://www.sears.com/craftsman-3-pc-locking-pliers-set/p-00945713000P
I couldn't find evidence that Ace sold them too, but based on the trend so far, I bet they did.
As mentioned, the screwdrivers are a Western Forge-made 14pc set, which I assume means they must be several years old, from before Sears had the falling-out with WF. I neglected to get a close enough photo of the top of the screwdriver package to read the Craftsman item number on it, but I bet it's this set: https://www.reddit.com/r/Tools/comm...sub_has_a_lovehate_view_of_craftsman/e92rqb7/ (links to a page for Ace SKU 2399087 which no longer exists, but was for a Craftsman 14pc set). Ace must have had quite a stash of WF screwdrivers in reserve since they were still selling them in large quantities last Christmas.
So, in conclusion, my new theory is that Ace Hardware has decided to switch to SBD-Craftsman ("New Craftsman products are here", they say), and is gradually dumping their remaining stock of Sears-Craftsman products to Northern Tool. That means Sears is losing another income stream.
