I was at an estate sale yesterday kind of close to the Badlands and saw a buyer that was leaving with a green color Coleman lantern and a two burner Coleman stove. I walked up to him and said “You must be Outlaw”. He looked at me like I was crazy and said “Outlaw”? Definitely embarrassed, I attempted to explain my mistake. I guess there are other Coleman collectors around. He said that he usually fixes them up and sells them.
Anyway, my copilot was available today so we tried a couple of estate sales. The first one was about 10 minutes away in Berkeley. We found some Craftsman wood bits and some Starrett hacksaw blades along with a few tools. The second sale in Hayward produced a Barcalo DBE, a hard to find D-I 1-1/8” socket, some Proto, some more Craftsman, a few Snap-on and a rusty Powr-Kraft adjustable. The Barcalo was a nice addition to the Barcalo board.
