With the addition of the 11/32” deep socket that arrived today, this 1/4” set is finally complete. A little newer than most of my S-K tools, it will live in my regular toolbox.

Did the earlier sets come with a short 5/8?
That is one I have never seen. The 3/8" SK chromes are rare.

Did that image come out of a 1939 catalog?Here is an interesting early spark plug socket set. The first picture shows the two optional thin wall sockets alongside the set. Even though the listing shows the set as having nine sockets in the 1941 catalog, I found an image showing a set with eight sockets in the catalog as part of a master set.

Looks like they added the 5/8 at some point. My think thinwall versions are "not guaranteed ".
