Hit a number of thrift stores yesterday, came back with the following:
Milwaukee 222 drill $9 and a Mikita locking bit driver $5 with a fold out torque handle and case:

1956 Coleman dual mantle lantern, likely a 220, in great condition with minimal rust $25

Splitting wedge by Warren-Teed $5 plus 3 Sandvik Swedish bow saw blades $1

3 garden tools (transfer shovel, cultivator, border fork) $5 each plus a box of misc tools in toolbox that they dumped in a corrugated box for me. Unfortunately they took out the 3/8 Indestro socket set that caught my eye as they “needed it” but gave the rest for $25

What’s in the box? Let’s see:

Box contents laid out:

Just some quality America steel such as P&C (1/4” socket set), Proto, Indestro, Thorsen, General Tool, SK Wayne, Channelock, Diamalloy, original Vise-Grips, old (USA) Stanley and more.
Also found a used set of dolly wheels $6 with metal hubs and bearings to replace a cheap plastic wheel which snapped under a heavy load.

But that’s not all, found a wooden box full of upholstery (?)/ leathery/vinyl work tools for $17. Just the brushes and long shears alone were worth it.

One man’s trash is another’s treasure. All and all some good pickins after not getting out in a while.
