Started taking a lot of stuff down off the walls, then had some pity beers since I am leaving a shop I built from the ground up.

Finished up repairing the back window on the convertible.
The old repair from years ago came loose once I re-glued the side and bottom in the heat. It was well over 105.

Cleaned and re-glued the top edge.

Letting it cure for a full 24+ hours before I put the top fully down. I hope it holds.

Finished cleaning the seat cushions on the boat, but did not have any grease so have to postpone the wheel bearing inspection. Also replaced the capacitor on a freebie 200 psi Campbell-Hausfeld portable air compressor. It helped, but still seems to be tripping on thermal overload before it gets to shutoff pressure.

Some of the sueded naugahydes discolored when subjected to new denim clothing.IDK if anyone has told you yet, but "genuine Naugahyde" isn't leather...
Even if they did, it's vinyl. They shouldn't be staining from sweat soaked denim...

Set up the vacuum, and sanded in the stairwell. Made a magnet plate for the LED floods to hook to the old halogen tripods.

I'm only going to cover it if chickens start going through it.
I noticed last night that some of the chickens were squeezing under the bottom of the gate. The plan was to have the gate closer to the ground. I'm not sure if the concrete setting caused the frame to heave up a little, or if I just didn't dig deep enough holes. Either way, a 4x4 across the bottom of the gate is keeping the chickens in.
They've been inside the fence all day today with no escapees. If they start to escape then I have some square fencing I'll wire wrap onto the gate. At that point, I'll extend the square fencing down closer to the ground to remove the 4x4.

Changed the HID bulb in the wife's Audi. Of course the bulb was shattered. Had to fashion something up on the end of the vacuum to get the broken glass out of the headlight housing.

I like chickens, my neighbor who has since moved,had about a dozen. Seeing them run around the back yard. I told him they looked like sail boats. Cheickens are a hoot ....

I like ours, but we recently had to fence off part of the yard for them. They recently started roosting on the back porch and pooping on everything. Spent the weekend putting in the fence and power washing the patio.

Light stuff, (It was supposed to get hot, so I wasn't planing any thing heavy)
More oak tree trimming (the pole saw fix worked!), used goof off to remove some paint from a long aluminum case I picked up a couple of weeks back and opened the tent trailer and put the canopy poles in it - great fit! - general putting stuff away away, - did the initial fix on the camp "throne" that collapsed under a big guy's weight last year (straightened the "hooks" for the folding stand) but I do need to make an addition so it doesn't happen again...

Up here where snow plows are not needed due to the pre salting, salting and post salting of the roads around a single snowflake in the forecast, having the friction material come off the backing plate is a regular occurrence. It's happened half a dozen times on cars just in my household in the last 10 years. Typically they shoot out on you during a stop which makes for a sphincter tightening few seconds and teaches you not to tailgate!
Back when they used to rivet the friction to the backing plate this was much less common, but they're all glued on or have little divots where the friction material fits into.
In my garage today...got the bikes out and went for a 4.5 mile ride with my son, cleaned up the mower deck and mowed the lawn, found a damaged repair on an extension cord that was tripping the breaker for the garage.

Picked up some base board and trim at Home Depot on the way home from work. Been re-modeling what once was the dining area now a bar area. Too damn hot to go outside and cut it.

Yup...for some reason, my vinyl inserts did stain...maybe they are leather? When I purchased the seat covers from covercraft, they were toughted as vinyl inserts and leather sides...

I was also curious about what type of glue is used to bond vinyl to glass?
My top is pristine but I also have this type of top and have never seen the glass delaminate off a top like that!
Kind of scary to know my top could do that, so I am a bit curious about the glue, clamps, and cause.

I also used rare earth magnets to clamp the fabric together where it needed to be re-glued. That worked like a charm.

No, I'm not in the business. The top had de-laminated several years before. I looked for someone to repair it but no one would touch it. They all said the same thing. The repair won't last. They just wanted to replace the top. So I made an attempt back then. It held for about a year.
Fast forward to now.
I previously used 3M window gasket glue. But it wasn't meant for any type of structural applications. This time I used 3M Window Weld. It requires a primer be painted on the glass. Other's have had success with it. The top is fabric. There is some tooth to it. I found there is a seam around the window where the fabric is glued together. That had separated too.
As far as the reason. My mechanic (Only works on Volvo's) has seen it before. We both think it is due to the heat here and no humidity in Southern California. The glue simply dried out. I confirmed it when cleaning the old glue off. It was brittle. It's not that uncommon for glass windows to de-laminate.
It took about a week. Working in sections and making sure that the urethane had cured.
I plan to replace the top at some point.
I really hope your top doesn't do this.

I bought a Lincoln 210-MP when they first came out but never had the time to start going with it. I've got a bit more time now so it's time to crank it up.

I shortened the handle on a fancy brass fireplace scoop to turn it into a mini-dustbin for my bench. It was an excuse to use an old tap-and-die set I bought used a while back.

Embedded something sharp in the bottom of my foot.
Couldn't see it, squirted some TiteBond wood glue on the area, waited for it to dry & peeled it off.
Whatever was stuck in my foot came with it.

Added in a new upper cabinet. So I had to unbolt the tall left cabinet, move it over and put the new upper in its place. Cut out a hole in the back fir access to an outlet. Then re-bolt everything together.

Squished drywall mud. Made a couple new tools. Cleaned n recycled. Put away tools. Vacuumed the floor.

Electrician comes today to finish wiring up some stuff. Also I'm finishing up the demo work on the half bath/laundry room that was built on the back half off the garage. Turning a 9x14 foot space into a 9x20. Still small but is what it is
Most recent was a differential gear oil change on my camaro. Took forever to remove all of the old gasket. I put on a new Lubelocker gasket and Royal Purple gear oil. Boy, wouldn't been much faster with a lift.
