Thanks for the ideas. Was actually thinking of using 3/4” long pieces of rides conduit as spacers to clear the ridges and run appropriate length lag screws through them.

Thanks, I was looking at the class B venting and it said 1" clearance from combustible materials. I didn't know if fiberglass blow-in insulation was a combustible.

I am installing a 75,000 BTU Modine Hot Dawg heater. It will be vented vertically with double wall vent pipe, through the insulated attic (Blown-in fiberglass). Can I blow-in the fiberglass insulation and have it be in contact with the pipe? Thanks

On the house they used some cardboard, but it looked coated with something. I’m doing this project on my own.

Soffit is already finished. I think I could get some foam board or cardboard in there easy enough.
