Thanks I just hit it on the workbench and it came off , my only other question is how do I keep the bearing on the spring when I rebuild it ?

Have a f712 ratchet and removed the 2 screws out and the plate won't come off. Any suggestions?

I went with the blue point PTB32K a more budget friendlier version of the sdm400a. Regular 50 but my driver had them for 50% off.

I'm looking to buy a set that has different types in a set ( torx, etc .) I have a snap on ratcheting screwdriver that has 3 different Phillips and 2 slotted. I was looking at snap on sdm400a master set but can't see myself paying that . Is there any others you would recommend?

Found the Yankee handyman 133h first then found the blue points wrench and picked them up for a 1/4 of a song .

Snap on. 1/4 ratchet misc SAE and metric sockets , snap on 1/2 ratchet , snap on screwdrivers and nut drivers , Mac wrench 9/16 and 15/16, misc wrenches.

I work on small engines as a side job , work on my own vehicles when needed . I have misc. Snap on ,matco ,Mac bits and pieces that my dad owned but trying see what everyone recommends for when the tool truck shows up . Thanks in advance .
