    2019 Q4 Milwaukee Deals

I agree about the 5amps - I like them for the grinder and sawzall, but they’re too big for drills and impacts IMO and too small for OPE or any heavy draw tools Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

It’s weird - tons of guys are selling M18 tools on Kijiji in my area, but they’re listing them at the pre-tax retail price and seem to be firm on it - I don’t lowball people but I’m not paying paying $120 for a tool I can get from HD for $120+tax Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I am abandoning that idea, the feedback here has been too negative. I’ll look into renting a lift instead. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for the concern, I really do value safety. I paid to have a climber do every a few years ago, it’s just smallish branches that I don’t want to do with the regular pole saw, and I’m hoping this would be a faster safer way to do it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m looking at getting the M18 pole saw kit. I like the look of it, I’m just not familiar with tree trimming - is this something I’ll be able to use off of a ladder?

    DeWalt DCF887

Why not? I'd rather use in impact rated spade bit in my impact than my drill any day of the week. It's shorter, just as fast, and less wrist-busting potential. Only downside is the noise, but hydraulic impacts have largely resolved that issue. Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk

Recommend a good metal chop saw

The dewalt 14" is the way to go. D-handle is so much more comfortable to use. Noise, sparks, heat, wide kerf and wandering cut are all terrible. However those issues are not related to brand, they're a universal problem with abrasive saws. Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk

What Older (made in USA) Craftsman Set

It's crazy to me too. Are people really paying those prices? I mean I think they're nice tools, but I can't believe the dough that they're listed for. Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk

    New bosch x-lock grinders.

I agree with the other posters here: seems cool, but having to buy the Bosch discs for probably twice as a much money and less selection is not appealing. And really, if you're a professional in a production environment, you will not be changing to different discs like that, you will have...

Re: Gas Pex You definitely don't use galv, but in some areas flexible copper is the norm for natural gas. Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk
