    Mig Welder problem

i am having a problem with my mig powering up. No brand name on it but has a Yes welder gun on it. Turn welder on and everything seems to work, wire feeds, gas works but no arc, I will fool around with it for about five minutes, moving shaking leads, tapping on welder, turn it off and back on...

    power electric pressure washer??

I was just looking at another ad and they listed one for 5000psi. You wonder how they can make those statements. Common sense tells you are not going to get 3 gal and that kind of pressure. It would be intersting to see how long one would last. When I was 16 IL could pee a bigger stream than...

    Mig welder, who makes it?

What would be the amperage of this machine. It says 250 but I doubt it. I would be happy if it was even 180-190

    Mig welder, who makes it?

I have a Miller 250 mig at my shop but sometimes I have a small welding job I need to do at home and the Miller is too big to load up. I was looking on FB for a decent cheap one. I seen this one advertised for $150. with cart and wire including regulator. I contacted the guy and he could not...

    Removing safety stripe on trailer

I have tried all methods here and I thought their might be a easier way. Plan on priming trailer ant then painting it. Would it come off a little faster if I used a torch sparingly? I hate the glue residue that clogs your sanding disc and using solvent to get it off

    Removing safety stripe on trailer

I have a 18' trailer that I would like to repaint and parts of the safety stripe is pretty tore up. How is the easiest way to completely remove all the stick on safety reflective striping? Can I use a 80 grit sander on it or will it just smear the glue from the heat?

    Goldak PB44 locator (sewer, pipe)

Yes, I already checked them out. They work on 512 kHz. They are around $30 ea. which is not a bad price. I called the co. and they have one that goes on the end of a camera rod, they are around $250 and that is not what I want. I would think some one still makes them or some one would have...

    Goldak PB44 locator (sewer, pipe)

I purchased a Goldak PB44 feerit pipe locator. It has a flushable sonde, that you flush down the toilet or clean out to locate septic tanks and lines. It works on 119 kHz. I am trying to find a spare sonde for it. Most of all the new ones work on 512. Does any one have a source where I...

    Matco tools

I supposed this has been discussed before (if so point me to the thread). I bought a set of sockets from Matco years ago and it wasn't long before I threw them away. You couldn't see the sizes stamped on them. I was going through my drawer yesterday doing some reorgnizeing. I have a tap and...

Please read if you have a Matco toolbox

That's why my next box will be the largest one H.F makes instead of paying $5000 for the one I have. (with $4000 left over to buy paint)
