lowest cost 9000 lbs CERTIFIED 2 post lift

ms have you see the lifts sold by USA lift sales in Hanover, PA? They have several 2 post lifts from 9000# to 18,000#. they sometimes have a few used lifts for sale also, but that's hit or miss. I spoke with the owner at spring Carlisle and he seem to be a good guy, sorry, don't remember his...

Source for pre-finished plywood in SE PA?

Kevro, There is a company in Reading, PA that sells 3/4 in. plywood (11 ply) that I believe is sanded on both sides and one side has a polyurethene primer or coating for the inside of cabinets. A friend of mine makes cabinets and gets all of his plywood from them. $33. per 4 by 8 sheet and...

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Gearbanger's Shop Project

Just ran across this and must say that it looks fantastic. One word of caution. Had a coworker use old wood to built a rustic floor in his basement and seven years later his house was full of beetles. Apparently there is a beetle that lays its eggs in old wood and they lie dormant for seven...

    Another epoxy question

Dave, I ended the epoxy at the door with painters tape. In some spots there was a clean line, in others, the epoxy spread between the porous concrete. Your door will cover it anyway. If the epoxy is thick on the tape, it will be difficult to remove. You may need to cut the expoxy over the...

I Just Built My First Deck!!

Nice deck. You may be required to install a railing. In my county, any deck above 12" requires a railing. Safety reasons.

    Ladder question

Another vote for Little Giant. I've had it a few years and it's gotten me out of some tough situations where a normal ladder wouldn't. They're not cheap, but are well worth it. They now make attachable wheels for them so them can be wheeled around and not carried.

    Epoxy-Coat Application--Lessons Learned

Thanks Steve, very helpful. I'll be putting the epoxy on 2000 sq. ft. this Sat. and I have my fingers crossed. One question, did you have any cracks in the floor and did the Epoxy fill the small ones? I spent 6 hours filling every tiny crack so they wouldn't show.

    Epoxy-Coat questions?

I'm getting ready to do my floor this week and I was planning to paint the outside 6 inches because I thought if that part gets wet from rain or snow, moisture could seep under the epoxied inside area and it may cause the epoxy to peel or flake. Just my thoughts.
