Thanks, I'm aware of it's type and that the company made a lot it their lifetime. My question was are their any US companies still making these little guys? ...or has everything gone to china? (I know about google also).

I picked up this little pocket air guage today at an estate sale, the only markings were S something. After a little cleaning and a magnifying glass, it's SYRACUSE. Looks to be a US made product, gone in 2009, from Syrcuse Air Guage company. I liked it cause it goes to 120 PSI, for bycycle...

Thanks for the reply, a little scraping and I can see letters. Looks lke KIR on one, and EIN on the other. More cleaning should help. Luckily these appear to be in great shape, no nicks in the cutting edges, etc. I undestand they make rubberized handles for these older tools...not sure I...

I picked up two Klein lineman pliers today, one is 8 1/2 inches, one is 9 3/4 inches, only marks on either one is M Klein and Sons, Chicago Illinois. They do have different corporate stampings. Is there any way to date these? Other thoughts?? Thanks,

I picked this up at a garage sale. The reason being my dad had New Britian SAE wrenches in his toolbox, 50 years (or more) ago, so I recognized the name. Question is what's missing / used for... 1/4 inch drive. Used in drill?? Missing a handle, any thoughts are appreciated. KC

So I picked up these today, MAC tool SC90 and SC91 Spline sockets. I've never seen one of these. Google says Audi and VW stuff has bolts that require these. Any and all thoughts?? Thanks.

I purchsed this little box end ratchet at a sale the other day. Markings are Dunlap, Made in USA, Pat. =APP, 1/4 by 5/16, stamped on both sides. Any idea as to who made these, when, and other thoughts? Thanks, KCMAP

Thanks for the share on Clark-Feather. One of the links talks about Snapon tools made by CF. I have small inspection mirror, with Cornwall stamped on it, part number CF-143. I guessing this is also Clark-Feather made?? Good stuff, LOL.... KC

I didn't look on the bottom of the case... only thing is a patent number, 1788535, which according to Google is/was owned by Duro metal products, Norris F. Mcnaught, and Peterson Edward Henry. 1-13-31 to 1-13-48

Just picked up this cool set at a garage sale. None of the pieces are plated, nor are there any manufacturers stamp or markings, each socket does have the size stamped into the metal. Any thoughts or information is welcome.
