Have a small block building built in the early 60s. Paint is pealing badly and hasn't been painted in many years. I do not have the option to pressure wash it so I will have to scrap it the best I can. What is the best primer to seal and cover it before painting. Building is in upstate NY and...
Installed this 18,000 BTU window AC. Got it free from a friend converting his house to central air conditioning. Barely fit in the opening. I made up some alum side panels and bottom panel to give it a clean look. Should make July a good month to work on the car

I have a 10" Delta that does the same thing. I have tried to adjust it but to no avail. I have used it for a lot of years so its done a decent job overall. So I bought a new 12" Dewalt to take its place, no more problem. Cant recommend you do that. But I guess that problem is not confined to one...
I ran the compressor to a shutoff switch on the wall. Pulled power from one leg to a light fixture with a red bulb to insure I didn't leave the compressor on.

I bought a like new 110,000 BTU furnace to install in my detached garage for 100 bucks. Cost 35 bucks for jets and a regulator spring. Took 10 minutes to install. For 550 bucks I had a 350 gallon tank and regulator with 200 gallon of propane installed and hooked up to the furnace. Misc wiring...
I look at what the poster has built for a bench. With 11/2" of wood backing the steel, bolted down. I cant see any reason to go with anything over 10GA I used 10GA for my top of my wood bench. I don't beat on it like as anvil. The nice thing for me was I had a 90degree brake up for a back splash...
Cant advise you on everything you asked. I know all my tig welders have High Freq to allow a quick smooth start. I have found it effects my cell phone on occasions. So I know there is always that possibility

Picked up an old compressor from a friend and barter some future labor to get it. Had to recondition it some as it was a little rough. After some work and a new coat of paint I installed it in the garage. Wired it to a shutoff switch and pull a line off one leg to hook up a red light so I...
My dad been restoring and build Indian motorcycles all his life. He's 88 this July and still going strong and sharp as a tack. His whole basement is his workshop and it overflows into his garage storing bikes he has built. His only non Indian bike to date is his 1911 Wagner. The other picture is...
The supply air is just a 24X32 square opening on the left lower side of the furnace. I have a furnace filter over it
I finished the top on the work bench. 10GA stainless steel and mounted my vice. Have to mount the arbor press on it yet. Painted all the drawers and doors. Moved in a nice frig...
Finished installing the 10 GA stainless steel top for my work bench last night. Finished painting the drawers and doors earlier. Even made a shelf in the window of SS. The top is 10 feet long with my vice on one end and I will be mounting an arbor press on the other end. I have (3) four foot...
