Cracks, low spots and dusting repair

I want to do an epoxy coat to my 30 x 44 shop floor. The floor has several cracks, 2 low spots that collect water when I wash ( and I wash a lot) and some surface dusting in the one side that is used for parking in winter, welding, ect. My time is very limited so I’m wanting to do this in...

    Dusting floor

Interesting. I'm getting confused on the coverage rate. How many gallons to do a 1400 square foot floor ? As far as prep work it doesn't say anything about grinding, is that true? I have applied densifier in the past, will that affect adhesions? Do you have dealers in Canada?

    Dusting floor

Hi all. I have a 6 year old 30x48 shop that is used as a hobby shop. Sleds, quads, welding, buddies coming over to use car hoist ect, ect. the problem I'm having is the side that sees all the major use is dusting. I originally did put down some densifier because top was soft ( long story ). I...

    pole barn in sand

is there anything wrong with building a pole barn in a sandy area? ive heard all sorts of opinions from local builders and there all different. some say use a cement plug, some say don't worry about it, one suggested trenching for the poles and set the poles on a 4x6. what do you guys think?

piles for 2 post lift ??

just to clarify, i'm not worried about the load factors at all. the tree comparison is a good one and that is my worry. in the oilpatch we will push/vibrate piles to refusal, usually 10'-15'. we will mount communication towers up to 60' high with solar panels, so done right these will tolorate...

    mickey mouse geothermal

i don't know what the difference would be if i was to hook up a boiler or hot water tank, i would only want the floor at a constant 50 degrees and i believe the ground around here is 40- 45 degrees. this will be in my 30x44 shop and i live in the north, to keep this thing at room temperature...

piles for 2 post lift ??

i will be pouring my floor next month and i am pushing 4'' piles [ pipe] in certain areas of the floor. i was going to get mounting measurements for my lift and push a pile at those locations and weld a plate that would end up being flush with the top of floor so i would be mounting directly to...

    mickey mouse geothermal

has anyone here ever tried running line around a buried water tank and through the infloor heat system. i have access to excavators so the only cost i could see would be the pump, tank and line. it should also cool you down a little in the summer wouldn't it. i'm not talking trying to rely on...
