    Different style linesman

Basically they just have two different shape heads New England has more of a nicely rounded taper to the head while the standard more of a boxy shape. I imagine most people would prefer the NE style since it might give you better clearance in tighter spaces.

Best Source / Brand - Wire Terminals

I would second T&B terminals, other ones that I really like are Ancor terminals that you should be able to find at a marine supply shop. http://www.marinco.com/productline/connectors-terminals

    Bits for a Snap-On SDDD41 reversible screwdriver

How about getting a Klein 10-in-1 screwdriver just for the bits and adapters with the retaining ball? Only thing it's missing is the the metric hex bits but with the adapters any 1/4" bit would work. http://www.mytoolstore.com/klein/32477.html

F80 has no screws in the back, right?

Can't really blame the guy since he probably lifted the info off the snap-on site... If you type in any old SO 3/8" ratchets part number the f80 comes up.

whats the difference beween these Makita drills?

Sorry I remembered this backwards but you have to remove a guide pin off the battery if you wan't to use the compact battery in the green drills. Keeps people from buying the cheaper batteries for spares. I heard from some guys locally to go for the green model but check out post #6 in this...

whats the difference beween these Makita drills?

The white ones are cheaper built that from what I've read have weaker drive gears that easily strip out. The white ones can use the 3ah batteries but you have to file off a plastic guide on the drill.
