$399 is a fantastic price for a cordless track saw. Especially with the power they showed going through walnut.
6 1/2" blades are common size for track saws. Very few people would need bigger as it's primarily used for sheet goods.

yes I have a problem buying tools. But this one is so damn smooth it barely vibrates my hand at all. The free batteries were a bonus.
I have the smaller uxell and the park one. Both hold strong and work well. I did have to deburr the threads on both with a file.
My recommendation is still to get a used starrett 91c off ebay if you can afford it. They are $139 new.
You wont be able to engrave shiny metal with a diode or c02 laser. You could try painting them then engraving then removing the paint but it's a pain in the *** for sub-par results. Black oxide coating might be laser engravable with the lower end options. These run $200-500.

You can plunge mill a lower with the proper end mill on a drill press. But the second you add lateral loads the spindle falls out. Do this enough and your taper is ruined and it will constantly spit out the spindle.
