Can you do some up close pics of the loft? Like to see how you attach it, also what kinda weight can it support?

Ok, here is what I'm thinking. I would like a roughly 12x12 storage loft in the coner to store garage stuff that is not used much. The weight would be most likely topping out at 1000 pounds plus the occansional weight of me (200) going up once in a while. The construction is 2 1/2 x 2 1/2...

How did you attach the walls?

I'm not planning on doing anything to the ceiling except maybe foam, I figured it could not support much weight. As the for the walls, I'll do what is recommended and add some more studs with electric and insulation so I have a sturdy place to mount shelving, etc. thanks for the replays!!! Mike

Ok, I understand framing it out every 24". Never framed anything in a metal shed before tho. How would I attach it to the shed? Bottom plate into concrete, and every other stud into the tubular studs that are 4' apart? Sry, I but want to do it right the first time! Mike

Thinking of adding walls inside of my garage. I've seen people using OSB/T1-11. Should I just use TEK screws and mount right into the tubular steel studs or lag 2x4's to metal studs first? Mike
