    Bendpak Lift Hydraulic Fluid

While I'm replacing my cylinder I'm also changing the oil. The manual says 10 weight non-detergent, non foaming hydraulic fluid or drex III atf. Will this work?: http://www.autozone.com/greases-and-gear-oil/hydraulic-fluid/coastal-640-oz-economy-aw-32-hydraulic-oil/540135_0_0 The only thing...

    Bendpak cylinder rebuild

Just an update, I didn't have much luck with the seal kit. I ended up speaking with Jeff (VP of sales) at Bendpak and he sent out an entire new cylinder at no charge. I've read about the customer service at Bendpak but now have experienced it first hand. It's a rare thing to find a company...

    Bendpak cylinder rebuild

I got the lines disconnected and the lock ring at the end of the nut where it attaches to the bracket holding the steel cables. What is the best way to remove the large (1 1/2") nut? When putting a socket on it the rod spins with it and I'm not sure the best way to prevent the rod from spinning.

    Bendpak cylinder rebuild

Going to try and start working on it mid week and will take some photos along the way. Definitely not too happy having to do this but it is what it is.

    Bendpak cylinder rebuild

Thanks for the info. Bendpak said the seal kit was a 50/50 chance of fixing the problem. However, if it still leaked they would apply the cost of the seal kit to the purchase of a new cylinder ($480.00). The seal kit was $70 and as someone mentioned just a bag full of different sized o-rings...

    Bendpak cylinder rebuild

The cylinder on my bendpak hd-9xw developed a leak so I purchased the seal kit to try before replacing the entire cylinder. Have anyone on here done this and can offer some points or a how-to? Thanks, Matt

Outdoor Stain or Paint for Patio

I am looking to either stain or paint our patio. The problem that I see with acid stain (I've used Kemiko twice in the past) is that the patio is made up of three concrete sections that were poured at three separate times over the past 10 years which I think would definitely show due to the...

Handi Kleen parts washer pump info

So I was given this old parts washer which is in pretty good shape (no holes) just needs a little sanding and painting on the outside. It did not have a motor/pump so I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction on what I need? Thanks, Matt

    Ford Themed Work Area

Figured I would update this thread now that I finally finished the inside of the rustic room that was in the first set of pictures. Amazing how time flies by and projects get pushed to the side when life gets in the way!

    Kemiko Stain Question

Thanks for the ideas, just wanted to update the thread for future search results....it was the stain itself had gone bad. I tried a new bottle and instantly it started fizzing and leaving a nice color once it hit the concrete which the other did not. Thanks again...

    Kemiko Stain Question

Actually, scratch the Ashford Formula post. I just remembered when I treated the slab with Ashford, this section of the shop did not receive any. Thanks.

    Kemiko Stain Question

Thanks. I forgot to add that the slab was treated with a densifier when first poured (ashford formula) but I wouldn't think that should have an effect as it still absorbs water, etc (nothing stands or beads up at the surface). I will try adding acid to what I have left.

    Kemiko Stain Question

Does anyone know what the shelf life of this is? I was trying to stain a small section of my shop where the tool room is and applied the stain as I have done before (in our house) but the stain did not take at all. The concrete looks just about like it did before I started. This bottle was...
