    Webster Model 60?

Did those valves work properly? I just bought a used model 60, looks identical. Mine came with a tag that says 850 RPM max, 350 rpm minimum in case you were still wondering. Any idea how much air it puts out or what the displacement is?

Hydraulic press modifications? Need advice on hydraulic valve

Its a double acting cylinder so typical 4 way, 3 position valve. I was thinking of adding the hand pump right alongside the main pump in the circuit in parallell so to speak. Put a T before pump so both pumps and connected to reservoir, then put a check valve after each pump to prevent backflow...

Hydraulic press modifications? Need advice on hydraulic valve

Hi I have a simplex 100 ton press (way more then i need) and i need a longer stroke and want to replace the noisy high pressue simplex powerpack with a traditional 3000psi hydraulic system. Hot water smells.

I didnt notice any black specs no. There was a little discoloration at first after draining the boiler and changing the anodes. But it went away shortly after. Probably dirt knocked off the old anode Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk

    Hot water smells.

Give it a few days and see if it gradually dissapears. Might take a while for the tank to be really flushed out a couple times. Hope it works out for you. Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk

    Hot water smells.

Ours was definitly the hot water boiler anode. You could boil water on the stove or boil kettle and it was fine but turn on the hot water tap and it would stink. Its some sort of reaction with the magnesium and the minerals or micro orginisms in the water which create hydrogen sulfide gas...

    Hot water smells.

I had the exact same problem, thought i had issues with water, even considererd drilling a deeper well but found it to simply be magnesium anode rod. Bought an aluminum/zinc rod (appearantly this is best combo) from waterheaterrescue.com and problem solved. No smell at all after a day or so...

Cellulose insulation exposed, is this a concern?

Im almost ready to insulate my attic. I have a 12ft wide room in my attic for storage and will often be up there to grab or store away things. Have a stairway up there. Just wondering if theres any issue using blown in cellulose in a situation like this. Any health concerns breathing it in?

    Which garage door?

Looking for some advice on which garage door to go with. Size is 12 feet x 9 feet. Needs to be well insulated and would prefer something a little beefier then a standard residential door, something that will stand up to dings better and hopefully be more secure. Any suggestions?

    outside compressor room

I lost a compressor motor once from leaving it in unheated garage in below zero temps. Most compressors will not have enough power to start with pressure on the pump so there is a valve in the pressure switch that bleeds the pressure off the pump everytime it cuts out so its easy to start when...
