PI split beam 1/2 , 128.97 free ship

Thank you cgv69 for your comment. I'll share it with our design group. We prefer all steel for it's durability. We had direct customers in the tire install that use the 1/2" and put thousands of cycles a day on it. Upon request, we added the comfort grip on the 1/2". firworks, as fast as...

Help? how to service Armstrong Torque Wrench 64-031

If the tool does not have a positive stop on the bottom you can just unwind the handle right off. It's become more rare as of recent, but still some products operate this way. Usually there is a screw on the handle which can be loosen to release the handle off of the case tube. However, if...

How often is a 3/8 to 1/2 drive adaptor used?

Yes sir, just did one the other day on a Jeep. 1/4" to 3/8" to 1/2" pinion bearing preload around 15In.Lb. on a rebuild using our D1F50HM. Nice to do it right, no returns.

Dial vs Split Beam torque wrench

I do use click wrenches only when I can't use a dial, which is not often. The dial type torque measuring system is completely friction free, there's nothing to wear out. Because of that there's no lubrication to replace either. It's always at rest when not in use so it's shelf life is near...

Graffix, thank you for your support of our product. PM me your address and I'll send you a new box if you'd like. UPS can be hard on the shipping, and depending on where it came from it may have passed through a warehouse or two. I know what it's like, you get a nice product and you want it...

Here is our new product: http://images.myautoproducts.com/images/Product_Media/TechData/PRE/PRE-XT36H_sheet.pdf It's mainly an accessory for our C4 / C5 torque wrench line with the removable ratchet head, but we've tested it over 1,000Lb.Ft. of torque without failure when use with our...

    torque wrench

Whether its digital or mechanical it should have a temperature range for normal operation in the manual. If mechanical then you're looking at the working temperature range of the lubrication within the tool, digital the electronics. Our dial type torque wrench uses neither and can be used from...

What sump pump do you recommend?

Great advice all around. I have Zoeller pumps in my basement. I have two pumps in my sump pit (one primary one backup), and one in my sewage pit. The pumps will last a lifetime, but as Maxima said above the switches are garbage. What I did was buy non-automatic pumps all around. In the sump...

    ICE Dams

Are the ice dams due to lack of insulation in the attic? If so that may be worth saving up for. Attic insulation pays you back year round. Stuart - that's a great link. New to that company but it looks like quality stuff.

    Husky torque wrench issue

Adjusting the handle usually results in adjusting the calibration. Getting the major and minor increments to align, and remain accurate throughout the scale is part of the engineering behind the product. I'd say that's were the handle needs to be to achieve the desired torque value. Nice work...
