I've installed and serviced both. I will not recommend a Rheem tank less again. They are ok, but they are nowhere near as reliable as the other players in the tank less market. Rinnai makes a good tankers unit. I personally like Noritz and Navien better, but I wouldn't be opposed to installing...
What brand is the water heater?
With the new FVIR water heaters you cannot just install a standard thermocouple.
AO Smith,State and Kennmore all use a similar thermocouple/pilot assembly
Whirlpool and American have their version and Rudd,Rheem and General electric has their version,
If you...
I worked in the Springdale plant for 10 years and in that forge shop for 6 of them. They have been moving towards automating the facility and cold forming tools for several years.
When I worked there in the 90s they made the Craftmans panel and full-polish professional series wrenches.
They...
I think you will probaly be installing a regulator at the well to reduce the pressure to 5 psi. Then run a 1" line to the house and install another regulator at the house to get you down to ounces.
Try going to a scrap yard and buying the length of soft copper you need or find a plumber and see if you can buy a small amount from them. Type M is gong to be difficult to bend.
It sounds like it the tempature limit may be in wrong. It should be the white piece that slips over the cartridge and under the handle. Try the valve without it, then check the instructions and how to adjust it. I install a few moens a year. I know how to do it but I doubt I could explain it.
I don't care what the reviews say. If you must buy a water heater from a box store. Then go with the GE, they are made by Rheem and are alot better than the Whirlpools.
Let me put it this way, I repair Whirlpool,American,AO Smith,State and Kenmoore water heaters everyday. Since the FVIR...
I was looking into building a aluminum grill out of some junk I had laying around. Someone advised me against it because of aluminum poisoning.
It may not be an issue, but you should know the symptoms.
Are There Any Dangers in Cooking in Aluminum ?
Effects
One of the dangers of the...
I though I read somewhere that aluminum gives off a toxic gas when heated and that is why you never see aluminum smokers or grills. I could be wrong though.
I've seen quite afew like that, not sure if it is legal.

End pipe wrenches are really handy in tight spaces. I use mine more as back wrenches than for actually turning or loosening pipe. They are worth their weight in gold if you are doing a repair in a meter pit.
I use mine daily, but I'm a plumber. I think everyone should have atleast 1. I would...
