I have a Van Dorn 8" grinder 1/2 hp, 3600 rpms, 110 volts, 8 amps, Serial No. 110724. It runs fairly smooth. Manual grease opening on the top sides of the motor. I believe its pre 1925 model. Can't find any pictures on the web to show what parts are missing. Would this been worth a $100?
Need help again identifying two more items in the attachments below. I think the rusty device is used for lifting bait barrels or some other items to ships. The other device could be for tightening two cables or ropes.
I have been searching the net but unable to specifically find which model # or part # it is. Really don't care about its worth. Thanks RTM for the info

Both worked a submarine ship yard doing metal cutting with machines. They were in his shop box. I thought that the parts would be for setup for measuring parts or set for machine parts.
The members did a great job identifying my tools in the last post. I need help again for the identifying the items in the picture below. My dad and grandpa both were machinists. Can you tell me what these item are and used for? The items on the right are made of brass
Found a picture of two men using the long handle caulking tool. Page down in the article listed below.
