    I'm The Electrical Dummy

Is the outlet wired through the switch? By its proximity to the outlet it seems it should be wired through the switch but you never know until you look. Is there not a switch mounted on the wall behind the faucet? That's where I've seen the switches located on every house I've been to. Never...

    Pallet wood walls?

Where I live, I'd be wouldn't consider using reclaimed pallet wood because there is an almost 100% chance it would harbor termites. If you're sure it's pest free then I'd recommend it!

Looking to rebuild this.. what is it?

Where do you see the forward/reverse selector? The little part in the handle trigger is a safety flip switch to prevent the tool from being accidentally turned on.

What's on your walls? Neat storage ideas!

Do you tape the line with masking tape before you cut? I have done that before on melamine and it helped with the chipping.

    Air compressor question..........

Have you adjusted the pressure switch to have it cut off at a higher pressure? The pressure switch is what cuts power to the motor when the pressure in the receiver has reached the high setting. If you haven't touched the switch, it may be starting to fail in which case I would replace with a...
