Posts next to a block wall.

I am not sure if this the right place to post as there is not really a construction thread but I have gotten some great advice on here in the past. I live in PHX Az and I am wanting to put 2 to 3, 4x4 or 4x6 posts right next to my back cinder block fence. The purpose of the posts will be to...

I finally found it in the manual and I will try it next time I get the saw out. Thanks for the help.

Ryobi 10" Sliding saw not completing cut

I bought a Ryobi 10" Sliding Miter saw last Christmas and finally got a chance to use it. I was cutting trim so I swapped the stock blade with a fine finish blade. It works great except it does not quite complete the cut. It leaves about a 16th of an inch on the bottom uncut so when you are done...

Splicing into Existing Romex For Floodlight

I need to see that in person. Trying to figure out how you add a line to it from the picture. Looks like a great solution though.

Splicing into Existing Romex For Floodlight

There is room and that is a possibility as well. Just a lot shorter run to tap into the Romex that is already there.

Splicing into Existing Romex For Floodlight

Appreciate the input. That tap splice kit may be the way to go as there is not as much slack as I thought. As far as the Ring goes, if there are better alternatives, I am all ears. I bought the Ring floodlight cam at Costco so I can always return it. Even if I go to security cameras and a...

Splicing into Existing Romex For Floodlight

Due to people constantly trying to mess with my cars in my driveway, I purchased a Ring floodlight camera. I know it has to be hardwired but I really do not want to run a new circuit if at all possible. The light will attach to the wall above my garage door and there is an existing electric run...

    Hot Water Heater PRV plumbing

Its plummed with copper and really the only outlets I see on the side of my house are for the AC condensation. I really dont want to cut into a copper line and there is no drain in that closet of course. I thought about moving the HWH to the garage, but the quotes to do it were rediculous.

    Hot Water Heater PRV plumbing

I know this is the electrical board but I had a plumbing question and wasnt sure where to post on here, but always get great advice when I come here. I have a hot water heater that is installed in a hall closet in the interior of the house, there is no exterior wall around it. I am thinking of...

    Recommended Drill Bits

Looking for what people recommend for a good drill bit set for Metal and concrete mostly. I bought a set of Bosch Black Oxide drill bits to drill out some holes in metal and 2 of them snapped off when getting to the end of the hole. As far as the concrete bits go, just looking for just general...

3/8" arbor with 10 mm arbor blade

I have an older Ryobi cordless Circ saw that has an 3/8" arbor. I am trying to get a finishing blade for it to cut some trim. It seems that all the 5 1/2" blades have a 10mm arbor. Will they work? I have seen mixed answers.

    Electrical Run to Spa

First off, thanks for all the input, I appreciate it. If I offended anyone, again I apologize there are just alot of guys in AZ that try to rip you off unfortunately. With that said I have decided to do this myself as I can run wires, and will have a friend help me with the project. BUT the spa...

    Electrical Run to Spa

So honestly, what would be a fair price to run a circcuit for a spa about 85 feet through conduit on an exterior footing or up through an attic? Both runs are about the same distance wise. Like I said, I really dont mind paying, but when people charge by the hour I get leary as some like to...
