    What is this?

Steve In SoCal, I thought you nailed it when I started searching for belt/leather skiver. However, the part labeled "Adjustable" in the photo will only adjust horizontally. It sits about 1/16" above the cutter so whatever it is shaving or "skiving" can be not thicker than that. That would be...

It may just shave or cut the end of "whatever" is being shaved or cut because the crank handle would interfere with the feed through unless the...

Wishing the US would formally change to the metric system

    Managing speed on air tools

My die grinder has a RPM adjusting screw. It has a NAPA label on it. The outside screw holds the adjusting tight so I loosen the outside screw, adjust the inside screw to correct RPM and tighten outside screw. (See Photo)

What are the slots/opening in a drill press base for?

I don't recall ever seeing a drill press that did not have the slots or openings in a drill press base. My Rigid floor model has two slots that are rectangular shaped with a larger square at one end. (See Bad Quality Picture) Also, I have never seen anything attached to those openings. Thanks...

A recent barn find (literally) that was covered in rust. The anvil is marked with the letter "C" within a triangle. Directly beneath the "C" is the logo. On the opposite side of the logo there is either the numeral "0" or the letter "O." According to my bathroom scales the anvil weighs 116...
