If you don't like the lock 'n roll you can just take them out. I took them all out of my krl1023. It only took me about 2 minutes. I think there is still a detent with the lock 'n roll, I have to give a tug to open my drawers and they have no problem staying closed. My krl is leaps and bounds...

I have a snap on mg325 3/8 impact. I like it and it seems to get the job done. However, a co worker of mine has a cornwell blue power impact that is rated for almost 200 more ft/lbs and cost him about half as much. its a lot quieter also and has a better warranty if I remember correctly.

Id stay away from deezee. I had one on my truck and it pretty much fell apart. It was warrantied for me but I shelled out something like 30 bucks more for a Delta branded box. That was four years ago or so and its still seems almost new.

That's an entry level box. There are a lot better boxes than the heritage and classic series snap-on's for a lot less money. For 1500 dollars or a bit more you could probably find a krl, which would be a very worthwhile buy.

I love my matco plastic rails. I also found that harbor freight sells some very similar ones that are like 3 for a dollar. As far as I can tell they are almost identical.

I upgraded to my krl from a masteforce. When I was looking at boxes I felt that my masteforce was better quality then any of the kra or classic series boxes I looked at. But the krl is hands down better than the menards box.

yup, 4700. it was something like 5600 customer loyalty discount and 10% back via snap on credit discount. I think there was 500 off for a tool credit or something like that that I just put towards the box. I gave no trade, took my old box and gave it to my dad.

My Krl finally showed up last week. In my opinion it was worth the wait after several screw ups on snap on's end.

Are they impact sockets? I have a set of MATCO Adv impact sockets that are either Taiwan or china. They are not silver eagle.
